😸 Back in July, my brother & I spent over a week exploring Alaska in a loop from Anchorage to Fairbanks back to Anchorage again. 🤗

We experienced museums of Alaskan artifacts, walkable nature centers, one unbelievable boat tour, hours in Denali National Park, an unforgettable flight with a glacier landing, two adventurous rafting tours, Santa Claus’s house, an ancestral lake, an eclectic B&B, & numerous walks to see the exceptional wildlife. 🥰 Don’t even get me started on the food! 🤤

What an unbelievable gift to visit my father’s birthplace. 🤍

Words cannot capture my wealth of gratitude. 🤲

His spirit was so palpable in Alaska. His untamed nature. His wild. ✨

It’s hard to believe that he’s been gone for over 4 years.

🍁 Tomorrow is T-Day! 🦃

In honor of Thanksgiving, I need to introduce my favorite T. Trevor Trueman.

Trev has been one of the biggest surprises of my entire life. 🙈😅🙈

My wife introduced us back in 2017 and we started dating right away. ☺️ Not too worry, Lee and I are polyamorous (in an open marriage) so it’s all good. 😸 Poly is complicated but it’s positively divine. 💖

The universe has blessed me with two beautiful souls to love. 🥰 Unique, independent spirits yet shockingly similar.

Since y’all have known Lee for many years now, I’ll share a little bit about Trevor…

Honestly, Trev snuck up on me. At first, he was just this guy who made jokes. 😂 I had a hard time imagining a bountiful relationship with him because he didn’t binge tv shows or watch any movies. 🤭Crazy, right? 😜

He’s a video gamer. 🎮 Actually, that’s an understatement. He games for a living. 🤯A few years back, he quit his job (as a chemistry professor) and started streaming on Twitch. He’s a huge dork, which suits me quite well. 🤓

He’s also incredibly smart, hilariously punny, and intolerably polite. 🤣 When I met him, I thought he was arrogant but I’ve come to find out that he is simply self assured. 🌟 A rare thing in this world. 🌟

Trev continues to surprise me everyday. 😊 We’ve been together a long time now but we were primarily an online/texting relationship until this summer.

Since moving into the West Hartford house together, Trev continues to prove that men can (and should be!) a strong support system to their feminine counterpart. 🧚🏼‍♀️

He has supported me through hardships unnumbered and weathered every emotional storm with grace. 🥰 Without complaint or criticism, he simply smiles, kisses my forehead, and tells me he loves me. 😍

💖 I hosted one of my favorite people last weekend. 💖

Cynthia is technically my ex’s mom but she’s known me since I was 16 years old, which really makes her my mom too. ☺️ Not to mention, Cindy has always been there for me. ✨ She’s an emotional rock, a spiritual compass, and a beautiful friend. ✨ I could spend hours describing how generous, considerate, and compassionate she is. 💓💓💓 Cindy is a true inspiration and I am proud to call her my Mama. 💜

P.S. Her son, Zach, is also amazing. 🤩 He is creative, kind, and one of the best people in my life. 💖 He drives me crazy sometimes (like a brother should) but I honestly love every minute of his company. 😄 I included a few videos of us in the kitchen together before and after he lit butter on fire. 😳 🔥 Despite the almost emergency, we were laughing away right afterwards because that’s the kind of man he is. 🤣

I am here to hold sacred space for my late parents, who were married on July 16th, 1988. 👰 They both spoke so highly of those first few years together: the bliss and the whirlwind. 💗 I am eternally grateful that they showed me how to love through life’s challenges. 🥰 Although they weren’t always perfect for each other, I truly believe they were soul mates. 🌟 #happyanniversary❤️ #loveisallyouneed taken in Manassas, Virginia by @chelseainawe

About a month ago, I visited Maine for the first time. 🤗 @lee_lmtsacredfox and I stayed at Hadley’s Point campground near #barharbor so we could visit #acadianationalpark every day. ⛺️ It was absolutely stunning to see the sea meet the mountains. 🌊 ⛰ We watched the sunrise on Cadillac Mountain, which is the highest peak on the Eastern Seaboard. 🌅 We circled Eagle Lake, which is the largest fresh water lake (at 436 acres). 🦅 One afternoon, we climbed Bald Peak Mountain as well as Parkman Mountain for over 6 miles in total. 🥾 We visited many small businesses for coffee, blueberry pie, matcha, lobster, and other delicious goods. 😋 It was the best trip of the summer! taken in Hadley Point, Bar Harbor, Maine by @chelseainawe

Yesterday was my Dad’s birthday. 😔 Even though he passed away in March, I still don’t have the words to properly capture my grief. 😢 My father was always my best friend. 🤩 He birthed my sense of adventure, my carefree attitude, and my fearless spirit. He taught me that we need to kindly laugh at ourselves while constantly striving to be better. 💗 I hope to embody his undying love, his ceaseless optimism, and his perpetual smile. 😇 I wish I could follow him around like before but life goes on. 🕉 I hope to find his energy again in another lifetime. taken in Manassas, Virginia by @chelseainawe

Sadly, my father passed away on March 27th. I still can't believe that I'll never see him again. 😭 More so, my last image of him will be his horribly lonely face at my mom's funeral. Losing both of my parents in less than two months has been nothing short of an emotionally confronting journey. I am beyond grateful that my Dad won't have to find a life without my mom. 💔 Despite his struggle with substance abuse, he whole heartedly loved her every single day (which has always been an inspiration to me). 💖 His 51 year old Alaskan soul didn't care to follow society's rules and he straight up refused to live in any way that didn't benefit him. This made his love for me all the more valuable. ☺️ I know I made him proud but I desperately wish I had more time to eat crab cakes and listen to his crazy-ass banter. 😜 I will miss my Dad for all of my days. I pray that he finds and loves my mother for eternity. 🙏 🥰 by @chelseainawe
