Happy African Child Day 💛🌍✨Today I’m thinking about the children I’ve met along my journey, especially as Miss Namibia 2021.There’s something so powerful about the spirit of African children the resilience, the laughter, the dreams that exist even in the smallest towns, in places people don’t not even know how to pronounce.You come from a small town still you matter. Your story matters. Your dreams matter. You can take up space in the world. You can become an ambassador of your own life.I truly hope every child remembers that they are seen, valued, and capable of becoming anything they dream of. That where you come from does not limit where you can go.I feel deeply grateful for the moments I’ve shared with children along my journey for the smiles, the energy, and the reminders of what really matters 💛 especially with my younger siblings and cousins as well🫂Very grateful to the ones who came before us who made sure that we had a day like this because of them we are here today and free from oppression.
