I’ve been a little quiet for a while but trust me I was hard at work. @jordans.archivess reached out to me last year about making him a plugin for creatives.

And I learned that I really enjoyed making plugins for creatives. Finding a niche that really stuck.

Back in March, we finished Hand Drawn Animator and successfully launched it, with updates soon to come.

I can’t wait to continue this work and to work with other artists and creatives to make tools for other people.

Super excited for something even bigger coming out soon!!

Too much to do so little amount of time.

Life has felt very full lately full of work, ideas, late nights, and a lot of moments that seem to pass before I really had a chance to appreciate them.

I’ve been thinking a lot about time lately how quickly things move and how easily it is to get caught looking toward the future and how important it is to actually be present

and I’ve been trying to do more of that. Creating more, spending more time with people I care about, saying yes to things, working on ideas, and cutting out the noise

There is this one project I’m working on called shift and its is a tool for creatives and editors and I’m really excited to be a part of that team. More about that soon

I can’t wait to share more of it soon. Chiefly, I’m grateful to all of you and the people in my life.

Shout out to my homie @chene.films

I had no idea Ethan was filming throughout the weekend. The next morning he texted me, “Look what I made,” and this was there. It’s hard to put into words how much I appreciated that.

Flying has become a lot more than learning how to operate an airplane. Every lesson, every mistake, and every hour in the cockpit is another reminder that discipline isn’t something you can just talk about. It’s something you# practice.

Marcus Aurelius wrote that the impediment to action advances action. Every challenge becomes part of the path if you’re willing to learn from it. Aviation has a funny way of proving that over and over again.

And one lesson that’s become just as important: don’t let appreciation stay as a thought.

So, thank you, Ethan. This meant more than you probably realize and it’s so cool having a friend like you.

I have an idea for one of hardest edits I’ll ever make.

I’ve been an editor and filmmaker for about seven years now and recently I have been wanting to work on a project where I throw all of my creative skills into one project.

this video is going to be a surreal gritty take on self transformation.

Pixelated Kisses by joji @sushitrash is a banger of a song. When i first heard it, i knew i needed to make a cool little video with it.

All of these effects were made in after effects by me. When i was making this after effects looks i wanted it to match Joji’s cover art style. Which has this dystopian aesthetic.

Why are you scared? I think being scared is a valid feeling and i don’t like admitting I’m scared but sometimes I’m terrified to put myself out there. I think that fear wants me to give up and turn away but wheres the fun in that.

Sometimes i ask why I’m doing this, being an artist is difficult. But i think there is happiness and joy i get from creating.

My journey as artist has created me into who i am now as an artist and these slides are some of my thoughts about what means to be an artist.

I think we live in an age where you can be anything you want. The dream of being a musician, artist, or anything is possible. But the hardest step is starting and committing to it.

People may think I’m naive for this but who cares right? It’s all part of our hero’s journey. Every time we trip and fall it molds us into better creatives.

Making your dream a reality is the most unreal feeling.
