LOVE, BEATS & PRIDE 🌈🍷 Our annual Pride Saturday celebration is happening August 1st! We will host an afternoon filled with love, music, and wine. With some amazing talent behind the decks who will go for a full on Pride Special in multiple back-to-back sessions. 🏳️‍🌈 More so, this year we’re supporting a cause very close to our hearts and shop! Our dear neighbors of @cafesaarein. They are the oldest and one of the most famous queer cafe in Amsterdam. That’s why starting July 20th, you’ll be able to make a donation in our shop to support Stichting Saarein. Stichting Saarein is a foundation committed to keeping their cafe safe, inclusive, and be a visible home for Amsterdam’s queer community. All while supporting initiatives and events that help contribute to a world where everyone belongs. The Malaparte Project is a winemaking initiative linked to Bodegas Malaparte, characterized by its family-run, artisanal approach and its focus on producing small-batch, organic wines. It began as the dream of Mariano de Frutos, who planted tempranillo vineyards in 1996 on inherited land, and took shape in 2004 with the founding of the winery. Today, the project is led by Elisa de Frutos and Rubén Salamanca, combining tradition with innovation. It is defined by: - Limited, carefully managed production, overseeing every step from vineyard to sale. - The use of organic and sustainable practices, respecting natural cycles and the environment. - A style of experimental, low-intervention winemaking, using techniques such as clay amphorae, old barrels, and traditional methods. The RIM winery is a minimal intervention winery dedicated to landscape preservation, historical research, and the promotion of the social fabric surrounding vineyards and wine culture. Founded by Jordi Esteve Xifra, the project is deeply rooted in the belief that wine is not simply a product, but the expression of a territory, its memory, and the people who inhabit it. Working with old vineyards and native varieties, RIM follows a respectful and artisanal approach both in the vineyard and in the cellar. Farming is carried out without chemicals, with careful attention to biodiversity and the balance of the ecosystem. In the winery, interventions are kept to an absolute minimum: fermentations occur spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, no additives or oenological products are used, and sulfites are reduced to the bare minimum or avoided entirely whenever possible. Beyond winemaking, RIM is also a cultural and social project. Through the recovery of abandoned vineyards, the study of local viticultural history, and collaboration with the surrounding community, the winery seeks to preserve both the physical and human landscape connected to wine. Each bottle reflects not only a vintage, but also a commitment to authenticity, place, and collective memory.
