Pour faire court : j’ai décidé de mettre en pause certaines activités, comme les conv, les nouvelles créations, les commandes de dessins etc.

Pour faire plus long : ça fait 12 ou 13 mois que j’ai atteint un point d’essoufflement de mes ressources et que je ne voulais pas le voir en face. En Juin 2025, je commençais à sentir que j’étais à la fin de mon élan post diplôme et que j’arrivais sur les rotules. Juillet 2025 et la chaleur ont été impossible à tanker et m’ont cassé. Puis Août 2025 a fini de m’achever brutalement : des arnaqueurs m’ont volé plus de 6000€, deux semaines plus tard mon ipad rendait l’âme soudainement et avec lui j’ai perdu plus d’un an de travail (car j’ai un tda et les sauvegardes régulières, bon…). D’un coup un trou dans mes économies et mon moyen de le compenser envolés. J’ai choisi de racheter un ipad et après avoir essayé d’en acheter un reconditionné et avoir encaissé moult rebondissements, j’ai dû en acheter un (et stylet) neufs. 1500€+ dans le baba 2 mois après. À cela s’ajoutent des déceptions, refus, des décès, la montée de l’ia générative qui me (nous) pourrit la vie, les guerres, le climat, mon incapacité à ‘rebondir’ et redessiner mon archive perdue et reconstruire ma collection d’illustrations, ma santé, des event qui ne fonctionnent pas aussi bien que voulu etc etc etc. Après un an à essayer de me rebooster, de redémarrer, de pas lâcher, je me rends compte que si je n’arrive pas à ‘rebondir’, à trouver un nouvel entrain, c’est que j’en ai tout simplement pas la force actuellement et que je me voile la face. Je n’ai jamais été aussi nihiliste et sans espoir, sans raison d’être et sans vie intérieure que ces derniers mois et pourtant je reviens de loin. Je n’ai plus confiance en mes capacités à honorer des engagements ou de faire aboutir des proj, quels qu’ils soient. Donc je me met ‘officiellement’ en pause. Vous me verrez uniquement à la Y/con de Novembre et ptet d’autre dates de la MEV event. Tout ce que je voulais faire, proposer, offrir, essayer, tout est en pause indéfiniment.

I have resident evil brains in my worms and they are telling me to play barbies!!! I’m having so much fun with this style and ideas, I might turn the first one into a little print for ycon! My heart says sticker but the rest of me says fuck them vector cut lines lmao I fckn loved the resi movie, Bryan and Austin Abrams have been running through my mind ever since!!! Digital drawing of Resident Evil characters Bryan Hodukavich from the 2026 movie and Leon S. Kennedy from the games. Leon is wearing his iconic RE4 outfit. He is pulling Bryan by the hand to go forward but Bryan is resisting, leaning back and holding his medical cooler bag. He says « uuuh, no way?? » and Leon replies « way » in a sassy way. Merci pour ce ZEvent cozy, j’ai bien rigolé, Mordheim c’était trop chouette et votre microcosme de nerds au sein de l’event était accueillant comme un salon où on vient chiller sur des canapés confortables.
@alphacastfr tu dis souvent que tu veux pas te mettre en avant ni entretenir un culte de la personnalité, mais moi de mon coté j’entrevois à travers l’écran comment tu aimes tes proches et comment tes ami-es t’aiment en retour, et ça me suffit comme indicateur pour avoir envie de rester te suivre dans tes projets. On rigole bien par ici
@bobby_vulgrif ta vie a bien changé ces deux dernières années hein ? Je suis fier-e à distance de voir que ton support système est solide et t’emmène encore plus loin.
Je sais pas si le reste de la team a aussi des animaux alors j’en ai mis que trois hihi

« Their perfume lingers after them and you can never quite get them out of your head. The delicate fragrance of jasmine, lilac, violets and honeysuckle mingled together leaves you sighing and hoping to cross paths one more time... »

This was one of the files I lost last summer, and I was left with only a screenshot of the sketch o<-< I’m really happy with how it turned out, after not colouring anything in a million months (literally February I think?? It was the picnic illustration of Ashley -again- lol been doing only sketches since)

From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for joining, sharing n hyping! You gave it life! it was a joy to see so many styles, ocs n outfits!!
Now, who was cheeky enough to kiss Ashley’s buttcheek…

Again, thank you so much for bringing it to life! The past two years had a whooping 3 or 4 guests each, this is the first time it has been shared this much! I had so much fun seeing everyone’s take on the winter ball theme and your ocs and all the different styles and art levels!
I hope we can grow it into an artist community event where artists can interact with one another and discover new people! I am doing some thinking how it can evolve to make it more interactive, I am very open to suggestions! As I said, I am thinking about making new backgrounds à la visual novel : the entrance main backdrop of course, a performance stage in front of a dance area, a food and drink area with tables, and a quiet balcony or garden. This would accommodate everyone’s oc personality and make for more fun poses! It would also allow people to pose their oc with others’! (With consent) I would include layers in psd files, and mayyybe pose templates to make it easier for those who might struggle with drawing like a sitting or dancing character. And what if we had dialog assets? 👀 I am fully open to collaboration as well, tho it would have to be a unified art direction.
