The rumours are true I love blue!!
Also this is the background of the background of the background of the painting I'm currently working on, I want it to have many layers but we'll see how I feel as I proceed.

In the fresh morning's silence an aery glow splashed my weeping side drenched already by the glistening wind; these very limbs of mine seemed to fuse with the fields' sinuous motion as the whispering of the pale and mild cloth wrapped hungriness and poise in a restless and weary spirit.

I've always wanted to combine my poetry/poetic prose with my visual art and oh man how much fun it is to make these collages

You must not waste any space, every surface is a place to create, take a piece of paper and let it come to life, then turn it around and repeat the process; sheets only have two faces so, one and two, you will eventually stop, unless you don't want to layer (which you can), make the composition heavier, erase it, let it vanish, tarnish; but still, through it all, see the truth of your own limitations; me, personally, would like, from time to time, to colour the sky (and I would still paint it blue) and draw some luminous bodies but I guess the stars are already doing the job of blinding dark and sorrow.

Sit back and relax for 20 seconds as I draw this sketch and later show my explorations of its composition and themes with different mediums, all with the chirping of birds from my neighbourhood.

I've felt caged by many things this past month, but art is not one of them; in fact my creative practice and I are going through a honeymoon phase in our lifelong marriage let us be ☝🏾

I was sitting on a bench, memorising the shapes of that tunnel created by leaves.
I genuinely love this drawing, I wish I could escape reality and hide my luminous essence in the small intersections of light that emerge between the trees.

Sketchbook page where I rapidly experimented with soft pastels; as always, ghosts, faces, air waves and bubbles

A child and her mother, standing in front of a tree, but as I removed details they became two souls being stuck in the death land, ultimately approaching the window that will return them to the universe, like the desolated spirits in his dark materials

I started this painting on January the 18th, 2025, as I was pacing and pawing through the sunny, warm, sometimes hurtful, always bittersweet memories of my childhood and more. Abandoning this canvas out of frustration and lack of time, I fragmentally returned to it in the past year, whenever I felt the need to divert from the language made of soft and ghostly figures I explored and sedimented in my practice. But I can never truly divert from myself, so myself returns in different forms but with the same expression, same urgency, only different colours, different composition or physical need. Is there a specific reason why we're so drawn to certain themes or representations?
