I am so beyond proud of my girl & her team🥹

Through the extra trainings outside of the group. The tears shed when she thought she looked “stupid” trying new things to improve herself as an athlete. The long hours spent thinking about all the little things she needs to improve on, meanwhile she forgot to celebrate everything she did so well..

Now it’s YOUR time my girl 🥹 you worked so hard for this. Tirelessly on attack, developing stepping skills, tirelessly on defence, even up again the biggest of girls with NO FEAR. You are a soldier my Kahlia 🥹

Love you so so much. Mum is so so proud of you my favourite athlete❤️‍🔥

And to my team & their parents - you are so appreciated. I have watched this team grow, and I have no words for how amazing my first season as a coach was 🥹 thank you for everything!!

Needed a moment 🥹

yesterday, coach said “this team will never be the same after today” and yuuuuh. He was absolutely correct.

July 1st 2026, 5 of us stood together hoping we would grow us a team. 17 days later, we took the field with 14 girls. 6 weeks on, August 29th, we jumped on the field and played our final game together for the season.

I never measured our value by the win. I measured it by our hearts, our determination, the way we turned up week in, week out, the way we never gave up on ourselves or eachother and the performance as each week passed by. We did that my sisters 🥹 we gave it our all!

To our coach, @rinakamapate I can’t thank you enough. You started building with belief behind you from the jump, even before we could even see our own potential. The hours you spent pouring into this women’s programme. You lit that torch 🔥 and we will continue to keep it well lit!

We built a LEGACY fam! So proud of this group, our club, everything we’ve stood for.

Forever Red and Blue ❤️💙🕷️ by @cherie.noblee
