There was a time when I didn’t know how to process pain.

I prayed, but I still carried the hurt.
I forgave with my words, but my heart still felt heavy.
I smiled, but there were wounds only God could see.

One of the ways God began healing me was through His Word and through sound, biblical teaching.

These aren’t just random messages.
They’re messages that God used to challenge me, comfort me, teach me forgiveness, and remind me that healing is possible in Christ.

Healing didn’t happen overnight, but every sermon drew me a little closer to the freedom Jesus had already paid for.

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” — Psalm 147:3

If you’re in a season of healing from disappointment, betrayal, grief, rejection, or emotional pain, I pray these messages become a blessing to you too. taken in Abuja, Nigeria by @cherish.xo

A week later, and I’m still reflecting on the lessons from Teach Me How to Love by Spara Global. 🤍

Some teachings don’t end when the class is over, they continue shaping how you think, respond, and love.

Grateful for the growth, the conversations, and the reminder that becoming the right person is just as important as finding the right person.

Thank you ❤️🙏

Being a private chef is a real profession, not a disguise.
Don’t let social media narratives redefine honest work. 👩🏽‍🍳✨

To every legit private chef out there
post your work proudly. Even if negativity trends faster, professionalism still deserves to be seen. 🤍 taken in Federal Capital Territory by @cherish.xo

I’m about to turn 28…

And

1. I’m realizing life doesn’t always go how you planned, but somehow it’s still working.

2. I’ve had seasons where I felt behind, confused, and unsure but I’m still here.

3. I’m learning that growth is not always loud, sometimes it’s quiet and uncomfortable.

4. I’m discovering that in finding Jesus, I’m finding my purpose, one step at a time.

5. I’m about to turn 28… and I’m grateful that part of my purpose is being expressed through my business @ches_cuisine —being able to bless people with good meals and serve with love means more to me than I can explain.

6. I’ve had to trust God in ways I didn’t expect… and my relationship with Him has grown deeper than I imagined. My church has played such a huge role in shaping me spiritually.

7. I’ve realized I don’t put enough effort into friendships because of past hurts. I’m still asking God to heal that part of me.

8. I’ve been heartbroken more times than I can explain, so I’ve learned how to be okay on my own.

9. When I’m overwhelmed, I tend to shut people out instead of letting them in.

10. I look put together on the outside, but in my head, I overthink almost everything.

11. I really thought I would have everything figured out by now—marriage, kids, and purpose.

12. I love my family deeply… so much that I sometimes worry about ending up in the wrong one when I get married.

13. I’m still becoming, still healing, still unlearning, and still trusting God with my story.

If any part of this feels like you… don’t panic, we’re still figuring it out together ❤️ taken in Abuja, Nigeria by @cherish.xo
