Dump 1: 3 colleges, countless prayers, endless work, and 3 major changes later… finally done with the #BS at the #3 Public University
- …

I’m eternally grateful for every lesson this journey has taught me. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that growth is rarely linear. I’ll forever be a student of the game of life.

My life path hasn’t been easy—and my college journey definitely wasn’t either. From graduating high school at 17, navigating college away from home, transferring, independency, & financially supporting myself — I know firsthand what it means to trust the process & embrace the journey. The biggest takeaway I learned from UCSD is to trust & believe in yourself; You have to be comfortable with being uncomfortable: it’s the only way you grow. Ever since I was young, my mom sacrificed so much to make sure I understood the value of education. “Anybody can take anything away from you except your knowledge.” That lesson has stayed with me throughout every challenge.

To my friends + family: thank you for standing beside me through every breakdown, crash out, all-nighter, move, setback, and celebration. I truly would not be here without your love, patience, & encouragement. Where you begin in life never dictates where you might end up 🙏🏽
