About 2 years ago I made one of the hardest decisions, or so it felt like, in my life to that point. I left my city (Oakland) & blindly relocated to a new place, out of the way. Many things went into that decision but the main thing was that I needed space from every thing I knew. A true reset. I was too caught up, & I was drowning. So I started a healing process, which has been errything but perfect. The homesickness was debilitating. Many times I ain’t feel connected to my people, my roots, or my self. I tapped in with my mf brother @fscraymos with an idea, and we got to work. Absolutely couldn’t have done it w/o you Mos. This is the product of that idea, A full body of work. I ain’t special, This is just music to relate too.
