I had the wonderful opportunity of receiving an arc copy of this book and I’m so glad that everyone is going to get to experience this book now.

I love this story and I think stories like this are so important! It’s so refreshing to see not only queer leads but a diversity in race as well. I absolutely adore stories that are able to give you an insight into another way of life and spread diversity. There is also mental heath representation in this story for ocd and anxiety which just adds another layer.

Fallen Rook- LJ Shen- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5+ stars for this one. I have such a book hangover now that I have finished reading this book. I cannot tell you guys enough just how much I love this book, but I will give it a try.

First off from premise alone your girl was hooked I love a forbidden romance and this also happens to be an MM romance which is truly just the cherry on the cake for me.

Enzo for me is now easily one of my top favorite MC’s, his character is just written so nicely. He’s funny and silly and doesn’t take life seriously, but he also has a deeply wounded psyche that I feel is just explored and discussed so beautifully. When he’s going through any emotion (as much as it pains to watch my baby hurt) it truly feels like you’re sitting right there with him and I could feel my actual gut tightening up.

Tom is a great character as well. He’s smart and sophisticated and definitely the yin to Enzo’s yang. He’s the older one and the juxtaposition in the way Leigh wrote their characters is my favorite dynamic in the book. Tom thinks things through, very analytical and literal. This way of thinking while efficient lacks emotional depth.. whereas Enzo leads with emotion and sometimes lacks that logical piece.

This book had so many good scenes it’d be hard to pull out my favorite but it’s hands down the sun set scene. I won’t say too much but it made me feel warm inside.🙊♥️😘

This story is funny, sexy, heart wrenching and just overall one of my favorite reads this year. It will take you on a rollercoaster of laughing to having a serious face to laughing to stressed and smiling and all of the feels.

Something a little different today. It’s my baby’s 11th birthday, and her first heavenly birthday.

Baby is my soul dog and I got her at one of the lowest points of my life and she truly helped me through everything, heartbreak, school, stress, life and growing up.

So for funsies and to brighten it up, please select a photo of my sweet girl and get a book recommendation, these are some of my favorite books.

This book is stunning and I’m sure if you haven’t read it yourself you’ve heard of it.

Got the arc copy of this (review coming soon) and I am absolutely so down bad for this book. Immediately one of my favorites and I can’t wait for the next book. Please do yourself a favor and get this book when it comes out :)

This book was one I just like so much, and whenever I wrack my brain for recommendations I always throw this one out there.

Ugh.. this book is so good. It’s got a video game and mystery horror element. Just check the trigger warnings because she’s DARK!!

My first love <3 the twisted series reunited my love for books and of them all Christian Harper is just my guy what can I say? 💚

I know this one is a big toss up! People either love it or hate it and I think it’s worth reading and forming your own opinion about! I liked it lol.

This one is such a good book! KM is an auto buy author for me and this is the first book I read of hers before I dove deeper into her more current reads such as leave me behind. This is written so well and I recommend giving it a read.
