10k Cherry blossom run @cherry.blossom.run 🏃‍♀️🔥❤️‍🔥10KM, 10 myths - my top running tips & debunking of some myths 🥵🏃‍♀️“You have to run every day”- Nope. I don’t. Rest is part of the plan. Fun fact, I lift more than I run. 🏃‍♀️“You need tons of races to be a runner”- I’ve done ONE half marathon, 10 years ago in Bangalore. Still a runner.🏃‍♀️“Running on your period is a no-go”- Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t. Listen to YOUR body, not the internet.🏃‍♀️“Stopping = failure” - I walk mid-run all the time. Breaks are strategy, not weakness.🏃‍♀️“Everyone else is better than you” - You don’t know their pace, their start point, or their journey. Stay in your lane.🏃‍♀️“Running is just physical” - It’s mostly mental. Stop messing with your own head.🏃‍♀️“You don’t need gear” - My running vest is a game changer. Phone, water, snacks, big girls support secured 😌🔥🏃‍♀️“Strava = competition” - It’s a tracking tool, not a comparison app. Run your own race.🏃‍♀️“More miles = more success” - Consistency > intensity. Always.🏃‍♀️“Running is basic” - Having time, health, and the ability to run is a privilege. Stay grateful.What’s your fav part of running or what myth would you debunk?
