Subtly unlocking crown chakras in our casual bonfire gathering era 🔥💜💫 Such good times at Cherry Clouds with new friends, old friends and our favorite neighbors last weekend! Exactly what our heart n souls needed after a year away from sharing this space❤️‍🔥 Off-grid connection + collaboration is the dreamiest, with gorgeous weather to match! We are so back baby!! The state of things 🍒🌧️🌾 Still blown away by the vast panoramic splendor of this desert every time we turn down Old Spanish Trail Road! Since rainy days are few and far between in the desert, it’s one of our absolute favorite times to visit! EPIC MOODY CLOUDS BABY! 🌧️ As we emerge from our nearly year-long hibernation, with vintage trailers now long gone (as far as Japan- like WHAT!) we will begin to ✨ spruce up ✨what remains at our 2.5 acre space— 👉🏼 Ziggy Star Bus 🚌 👉🏼 Knottie Girl 🛥️ 👉🏼 Crash Pad ✈️ 👉🏼 Plus the covered patio + outdoor kitchen! 🫧💕 Having less to maintain feels SOOO GOOOOD!✨ SO, WHATS NEXT? We envision intimate community campouts & wellness oriented events ahead!💫 With good humans healing and hanging in nature as the focus, where we ourselves can enjoy the glorious surroundings without wondering which old trailer needs work or got attacked by moths! 😆 Cause feeling stressed out in nature S U C K S !!! Just your average desert wedding dream come true!💫 HAPPIEST ANNIVERSARY to this creative visionary couple, Rachael & Jordy!!💘 When Gabby from @causewecanevents emailed me seeking a Burning Man-style venue for a wedding weekend filled with live music for her clients, I was beyond excited! Little did we know it would be the most epic event we’d see hosted during Cherry Clouds Oasis little life!😍🥳 With the transformation of our patio into a red velvet-draped lounge, along with lanterns and light-up tables @by_dzign, the colorful scene was set for unforgettable fun to be had over 3 days w/ perfect spring weather!✨ 🌈 Add a giant rainbow tent for chillin & 15 gorgeously outfitted bell tents for guests by @anywhereoutpost — plus a DEEP caravan of personal recreational vehicles— and the #glampingwedding OF OUR DREAMS came to be in the Mojave Desert! ⛺️⛺️⛺️ The band @pinktalkingfish w/ amazing stage/sound support by @sierra_audio_solutions had everyone dancing the night away— along with afterhours DJ sets by friends inside + behind the school bus! 🚌 Live Fire catering by @rambler_events was spectacular! 🔥 And a fireworks display straight outta Romeo and Juliet capped the final night! 🎆 — But wait. I haven’t even mentioned their ceremonial vows! 💒 OH. MY. GOD! With @wickedtinkers bagpipes echoing thru the desert, we stood back as the group split apart along the wide open desert landscape, and the men walked away with the groom << lifted upon a Sedan chair >> to then turn around and be reunited with the women + GORG bride— where the couple were lifted onto a PLATFORM as their guests circled around them! Our jaws were on the Earth! We no doubt witnessed one of the most unique CINEMATIC displays of love of all time!🤩 You special souls took our goals of hosting desert events to a level we hadn’t even dreamed. So much praise and gratitude is due to you and everyone involved for making this magical event a reality!! My dear trailer, today we set you in motion to make your home across the ocean! 🌊🤯 I bought you about 48 hours after buying our Mojave desert land in May 2020. I was ALL IN on this dream unfolding, and I felt so lucky to make such a stunning vintage vessel mine! We gave you a sexy Egyptian theme and called you Sahara after finding a 6’ King Tut statue that fit perfectly where your fridge had been! We later gave you a sister trailer, ‘Izakaya Go Go,’ 🏮 who was a Japanese dream, just like your new daddy @liko_miura 😂 AND NOW YOU WILL BE TOO! 🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵 Currently Los Angeles-bound to deliver our 1969 #BolesAero travel trailer to the broker in charge of making sure she gets safely shipped to her new home in NARA, JAPAN!🌸 Nara, an Osaka suburb, is famously known for its sacred bowing deer population! 🦌✨ Of course we happen to have deer onesies in our closets!:) Sahara’s new owner will be renting her out to guests along with 4 other trailers on their property🥲 Dare I dream to SLEEP in my former trailer someday at the Japanese version of CHERRY CLOUDS?!? I’d be DEAD!!🫠🤩🥳 And so it is that 🍒☁️’s is now TRAILERLESS!! 🥺 After bringing the Sahara to Vegas last week, our #Dolltrailer sold the very next day. Our driveway was looking pretty trailer trashy (my parents former home, a 40’ RV is here too!) so what luck it was to move some energy out, just as Spring begins!☀️ TODAY also happens to be the 4th anniversary of our opening Cherry Clouds Oasis! 🥰 What a magically aligned way to conclude this beautiful chapter with our last trailer goodbye✨ Less is more. The BUS, the BOAT, and the PLANE are still anchoring our space and awaiting a refresh. This feels good. You can take the vintage trailer out of the desert… but it might present some issues when you introduce it to beach weather for the first time! 🌊 WAIT til the end of the video🤪🛠️🛣️ It was a last minute decision to take GEM back on the road for our summer vacation, in honor of my 10 year anniversary with her! And luckily the tires did just fine for not having moved off of SAND in 3.5 years🙏🏼 We had considered that 2 adults sleeping inside a twin bed for 2 weeks might not work, so we planned to have one or both of us sleep in the truck bed. But it was SO COLD! We even had to thrift jackets, at the end of July! We settled on a cozy 69 position to sleep inside and made it work😝 It was a full circle memory for me, spending quality time on the beautiful coast where I grew up, with the best husband (that hair flip tho!) and the cutest vintage vessel that taught me so very much the past decade💜 📍 Faria Beach Park, Ventura County CA taken in Faria Beach by @cherrycloudsoasis

All 3 have been undecorated (bedding + themed decor items are available if interested) and are ready to be enhanced by their new creative owners! 🎨 And tho unseen previously, they all have bathrooms! Izakaya + Daisy are totally ready for the fun exterior paint jobs we never got around to! And in my opinion these trailers are all in pretty great shape for being 50-60 year old desert babes! You can get MULTIPLE USES out of a trailer! Hit the road for outdoor adventures 🌊 park one in your yard as a guest house/office/hangout, use for your business, or even live in it! The Sahara/Boles Aero is the perfect size for someone to live in inside an RV park! 🏡 DESERT LAND FOR SALE, too! 🌄 2.5 acre parcel available for just a mile from the 🍒 land, very competitively priced! Consider building your own funky compound! I still love the idea of our own container or earth home. We continue to enjoy our 🍒 set up with the bus + boat + covered patio.. it’s all we need to enjoy sunsets + full moons whenever we wanna get away from the grid! After a whirlwind 3 years of devotion to this desert space, we quietly took a break from posting & hosting in 2024. The time came to hit the pause button and consciously consider what we wanted our future to look like! Cherry Clouds Oasis was born during the pandemic. The end of one era swiftly sparked the urge to flip the switch. It’s hard to believe that will soon be FIVE years ago! We have changed SO much! The decade-long dream I had of hosting a vintage trailer hotel space was proudly achieved here✨ A most successful journey of building something out of nothing and having it find a special family of new friends that made it thrive! A simple off-grid glamping set-up evolved into a rainbow of events + experiences than we coulda ever imagined. The ultimate tho was Liko and I’s engagement/party upon learning how to REALLY work together, as true partners 💘 We’ve shed happy tears in awe as 4 couples celebrated their unions with us, sat in gratitude co-facilitating fun retreats, and danced in amazement at some electric rave events! 🌈 With opportunities arising to accept wedding bookings a year+ ahead, and the prospect of delving deeper into desert life, the long term sustainability of this operation began to wither away our commitment— right alongside our increasingly leaky vintage trailers!:) The pressure of ‘selling’ the remote desert experience had become a hard sell for us, as the operators! With the extreme weather + limited months of operation, upkeep of trailers, base in Vegas, and lack of funds to grow, our devotion was always tested. It was hard to finalize this decision, but weeks being away turned into new seasons, and our hearts went in other directions. We’d ultimately love to build a beautiful structure here someday, maybe sooner than later. Simply obsessed with this still corner of our wild Earth 🙏 It’s been beyond fulfilling to witness the many dreamy gatherings held by the many new friends who created magic here!
