A little Recently Sold round-up 🌿✨

Quite an eclectic bunch this time from shimmering Czechoslovakian lustreware and rich green glass, to studio pottery, Carlton Ware and the wonderfully cottagey chicken soup mugs. 🍐🐓

One of my favourite things about sourcing vintage is never quite knowing what I’ll come home with. Different eras, makers, colours and styles somehow all find their way together and then, eventually, off to their new homes!

The large fern jug in particular was one of those pieces I could have very happily kept for myself… which is always the danger! 👀

⭐️ NEW TRADER SPOTLIGHT ⭐️

I’m absolutely delighted to welcome the lovely Maisie of @cherrywoodforest to the TLC family as she takes ownership of one of my vintage shelves upstairs.

Pictured to the right of my ‘Girl Friday’ @featherandfern206 Maisie has filled her shelf with some lovely pieces, perfect for styling your home in a sustainable way for autumn, and all reasonably priced too!

Maisie is based in Stourport-on-Severn and currently sells on-line and at local vintage fairs.

Please come and support her when you can as I’m now open EVERY DAY until the last day of @herefordshireartweek on Sunday 13th September!

It may have rained on set-up day, but it was wonderfully vibrant inside Sarah’s beautiful shop!

Ledbury makes such a lovely day out!
It’s full of historic streets, independent shops and a brilliant community spirit. This year’s Ledbury Carnival theme is “Once Upon a Time”, and local businesses have brought the theme to life through their imaginative window displays including The Ledbury Collective!

VERY impressed with my new stamp from @stamps.direct

The level of detail they’ve managed to capture in such a tiny 2.4cm stamp is incredible. I’d also struggled to find somewhere offering orange ink, and then it arrived only 24 hours after I placed my order. I was flabbergasted to say the least. Not sponsored or anything, just very impressed.

These will be coming with me to fairs and will also feature in an exciting announcement at the end of the month! 👀

I’ve stamped 250 labels and, towards the end, realised I’d been tensing my core with every single stamp so I’ll see you all at the next fair with my new six-pack!

A beautiful blue and white touch pad with a gold border has somehow become a little family quest. 💙

I first met the dad at the Tenbury Show, where he was looking for blue and white touch pads for his daughter. Then I emailed with her sister, and now this touch pad which has been dormant in my “I’ll get round to listing it” section for far too long has suddenly burst into new life and is on the way to its home!

When you’re passionate about your space, the people who love you get invested too. And I think that’s one of my favourite parts of Cherrywood Forest: sharing in the joy of finding that little something special you’ve been searching for to make your space special.

I’m often messaged to my socials or etsy shop after a stall with, “Do you still have that…?”

And chances are (in the nicest way) I remember you and watched you umm and ahh over it, wander away, come back for another look… and then reluctantly leave it behind. I know that feeling when you let something good go and can’t stop thinking about it afterwards!

So when you come back for it, believe me, I’ll package it with the utmost love because I already know it belongs with you.

And it doesn’t matter whether you’re just down the road or on the other side of the world. Cherrywood Forest ships worldwide, so if you’ve fallen in love with something, there’s every chance I can get it to you. 🌍📦

This beautiful Scheurich-Keramik vase, numbered 208-21, has a warm amber and cream glaze with speckling throughout.

Such a simple piece, but one that brings so much warmth and character. Perfect filled with flowers, or just as lovely styled all on its own. 🌿
