Actions speak louder, but melodies hit different. There’s a certain energy that only comes alive when the beat is right. Every note, str8 from the heart. I hope you catch the drift.

“It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold, when it is summer in the light and winter in the shade."

Another year older, but birthdays don’t hit the same no more. 💭🖤 Sometimes I really sit back and wonder why I was even born after everything I’ve been through. I know I wasn’t put here just to survive… I wanna LIVE. Tired of ignoring the pain, holding my breath, and acting like I’m good when life gets heavy. But through it all, I’m still here, still standing, still becoming everything I once prayed I’d be. 🥂♾️

Grateful for another year, grateful for the genuine love, and grateful for the few who make life feel a little lighter. ❤️‍🩹 Not the happiest birthday, but we still popping our shit like we got something to celebrate… because surviving everything that tried to break me is a reason in itself. 😮‍💨❤️‍🔥

Happy birthday to me. Still fighting, still shining, still HIM. 🥀🥂🖤 taken in Downtown Dallas, Texas by @cherythegoat
