From beautiful mountains in Vegas to the Sunshine State by @cheshirestateofmind

Check this out! We got a used playground for $75 (if you are fast enough you can score one for free on FB Marketplace in your area!)

And I have a vision to upgrade the old rund down set we got with our new house and create a new playground for our kids!

Follow along for projects here and there where I ALWAYS try to be creative with what I have and do whatever I can to build dreams and bring things to life!

PART 1 FINISHED
This Playground rejuvenation and renovation is going to be EPIC. Let's get this ship ready to SAIL.

Step 1. Find free or cheap playground that someone needs gone!
Step 2. Give it some love! Due to hurricane season. Approaching and the constant afternoon florida showers and school being done! I need to get this refinished while allowing my kids to still enjoy it between the sunny windows this season.

We cleaned the bolts we had removed and treated the areas where the set comes together, wood to wood and treated end cuts first! This way I can assemble it and these areas need multiple coats as they are the first spots where wood starts to deteriorate.

Follow along as I continue to refinish this playground, fix the old playground that came with the house AND THEN we are going to get CREATIVE and connect the two sets together to create the ultimate playset for our kids and friends!

You don't always need new. You CAN bring things back to life and you would be surprised what you CAN do with what you ALREADY have!

Another one out of the 5% club!! Haha when you start a project and get it 95% done. Lol. This doorbell is officially intact with the wall and caulked! I will admit we left this for to long lol like almost a year haha. #diy by @cheshirestateofmind

Let's build a quick not so pretty nesting box for my chickens because I need more now. With 16 chickens we get about 1 dozen a day now and they like to lay at the same time... so 2 boxes wasn't enough. Let's add 3 more. #palletdiy #chickens by @cheshirestateofmind
