For the past five months, I’ve had the immense privilege and opportunity to journey in Asia’s first: The Voice Generations Philippines. I shared the stage with amazing talents and beautiful people, both onstage and behind the curtains.
This journey is unforgettable. Sure, it may have had its ups and downs, its trials and tribulations, but in the end, it was fulfilling.
Getting to perform onstage again (and on TV, might I add!) with a full production & band after a long time was far from my 2023 bucket list.
I don’t know what to say, actually…it’s surreal to me how fast these months flew by; after all the blood, sweat, and tears poured into this competition— it’s over.
I feel hollow inside, not necessarily in a bad way, just in a way that’s missing all of the people I was able to work with. The early calltimes, the waiting games backstage, and the fun in between.
I’m grateful that I got to experience this in my teens — performing with my ates and upholding Sorority’s advocacy that strong women can work together, that women support women, and more importantly— girls support girls.

Thank you mom and dad for your continuous love, support, and care; you both are my source of inspiration.. God truly blessed me with wonderful parents.

Thank you to those who supported Sorority throughout our journey; thank you for BELIEVING in us considering that this is our first time to perform as a group; and thank you for not just watching us, but for SEEING us.
Don’t worry, you will see more of us!

God surrounded me with the right people, and He led me to this opportunity. I’m beyond grateful for everything.
He gave me this opportunity to take my mind off the grief that took over my life and gave me a chance to make papa proud. Papa, I got to perform on TV again!

It’s a bittersweet end, yes, but only to this chapter. There’s still a whole lot more pages to cover and we’ve only just begun.

a week without you.
it hurts to grieve, doesn’t it?

I’m older now, fifteen, and I still don’t know what life is all about.
only difference is that you’re no longer here to guide me and help me run towards the finish line.

whenever I think that I’m okay, that I have no more tears left; when I’m finally confident that I’ve cried all the water out of my body, reality strikes me hard.

Susan Pevensie, you were such a joy to play. 💗

Wrapping up Playhouse 2026, “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” with a grateful heart and many a lesson needed to navigate the journey growing up. Thank you, thank you for allowing me to be part of this year’s iteration of Playhouse and trusting me with Susan; I hope I was able to do justice to her story as a Pevensie kid. Thank you thank you to everyone involved in Playhouse 2026!

LWW remains a quintessential story, now especially with the trauma this generation is facing — wars, conflicts, and the ticking clock of irreversible global damage. Here we take refuge in literature. We look for answers in the simplest of stories where good triumphs over bad as solace from our reality’s problems. I’m still growing up and figuring this all out; Susan Pevensie you have given me a new perspective and optimism that I forgot I had in me.

Let’s keep the truth of goodness in our mind and heart, for it is our task to make the world a better place— not just Narnia, but anywhere you are. 🫀

I was so happy to reprise my role as Susan, and to share the stage with my super castmates, prod team, creative team— oo na lahat na! What a fulfilling summer :))

Happiest birthday mom! @venice_rojas27 !

I love you so sooo much. I know this year has caused much pain, and it seems as though trials and tribulations are all the path before you holds. I may not know the words to say to comfort you, but I want you to know that you are loved. By me, dad, your siblings, your cousins, your family and friends— and by mama and papa in heaven.

Sometimes we’re that very cliche mom-daughter duo of catfights, eyerolls, arguments, and sass; sometimes i bring great frustration as a stubborn teenager; but you are always going to be my loving mother. I’m incredibly grateful to have you as my mom— as someone i can jest easily with. Granted, we don’t always see eye to eye, but hey! We *both* agree that a good cup of coffee is better shared with each other.

I love you mom. Thank you for everything motherrr!

Mama will always be with you, mommy. She will always have your back. Your forever guardian angel.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe ✨🚪

Some photos from our show last July 12, 2026– for this year’s iteration of Playhouse by @trumpetsph 💛

Super grateful to have played Susan Pevensie in sir @gomez_nelsito ‘s brilliant adaptation of this (both!) Trumpets and literary classic; with such a timeless message that resonated with me deeply. As i reach the dusk of my teenage years, it was fun to reconnect with that childlike wonder and belief that the Pevensies have.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to watch our show and hopefully you were transported to Narnia even just for a little while. The magic is in believing. In making a better place— not just Narnia, but anywhere you are.

Thank you to our wonderful production crew, interns, creatives, teacher Lani, sir Nel, sir Jay, sir Julio, sir Jim, ate Tris, ate Lianah, and fellow Narnians! Y’all made this possible! We’ll always have the wardrobe 🚪📚✨

Today marks the 40th day after mama’s passing; i’d like to remember her today and share one of the last times i sang to mama. I genuinely don’t know how to feel :,) a part of me is relieved that you’re no longer suffering, while the other part of me just wants you back. I been going through our photos and i realized that we didn’t have any good pics ever since the cancer took a toll on your body, and even so, i don’t wanna remember you that way either.

I also don’t know what to say too, it’s as if there are no words left for me to say; a deep, sorrowful longing and ache has replaced the words of grief I thought i’d be spouting out…

I called you “mama” because you raised me, bathed me, clothed me, and fed me when my mom was working in the city; your grandkids call you mama because you were genuinely our mother too. We shared in your love with your children, our parents, and we had a second pair of arms to run to— we had mama.
You were my mama because you just were.

You were stronger than you ever knew. Thank you for fighting for you and for the people you love; you can rest now.
