A few weeks ago, I did a thing at the @hymnalrecords Artist Showcase. Last year, I was talking to my songwriter friends that do live performances often. I shared how it’s not my speed, and they challenged me to get out there and sing live.

This opportunity came up and I signed upfor it. Mannn, right before I went up, anxiety was going crazy. It was so bad that I almost dropped out before they called me up. But I did it, I went up there with all these emotions and honored the commitment that I made.

I appreciate everyone for creating a safe space for me to share my story of overcoming vocal challenges that made it tough to sing for over a year and to share my song(for the second time live since I released it)!

My daddy.

On October 14, 2026, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother made his peaceful transition from this life.

As we navigate this difficult time, we kindly ask for your understanding, patience, and privacy as our family takes the time needed to process this tremendous loss.

We appreciate everyone that has a heart to reach out, but we ask that you limit phone calls at this moment to give us time.

We would like to personally thank everyone who has walked alongside us throughout this journey. Your love, prayers, encouragement, and unwavering support have meant more to us than words can express.

We ask that you continue to keep our family, his friends, and everyone whose life he touched in your thoughts and prayers.

A year ago we celebrated year 60 and my sister wanted me to sing the happy birthday song that I sing for all of our family..

I’m always little nervous singing but I did it anyway. I’m glad I did because that’s now the last birthday that I got to experience and sing happy birthday. It was a really good time!

Journeying with Him: Surrender! What a journey it’s been!!!

When I accepted this invitation months ago, I could barely sing, let alone reach my full range because of seasonal allergies. Still, I said yes, trusting God would restore my voice AGAIN and before this night. Talked it over with Ravè, and she still wanted me on the team!

Fast forward! My voice returned, and I was ready to worship! Then September hit us with three significant losses, two of which now had services the day after this worship night. Grief/loss hit us hard! I wasn’t sure I could sing through the emotions, but God is ever so faithful to me, a present HELP indeed. He gave me peace, grace, and strength to honor this commitment.

Huge thanks to @myheart2hearts for having me, covering me in prayer, and walking with me through it all. This worship night was special! The people came with a hunger, a thirst, and a desire to worship boldly and freely! I mean from start to finish, there was such anticipation and expectation in the room!

We got to sing our friends’ songs spontaneously(loved that moment so much) and she even let me sing in Spanish (personal goal). It was such a blessing to be part of this experience!

Lastly, much love and appreciation to my friends and family. There was so much happening during those days in the background, and they made sure I had everything I needed to be fully present and make it through. That’s love!

This past year, I did something I never do. I played my guitar outside of my house and in front of others. I had written the song, The Seed, The Harvest, a while ago, but this was my very first time sharing it in a group setting.

I’m deeply grateful for the spaces, places, and financial support that make it possible for me to create and share!

A big thank you to the Greater Columbus Arts Council for making the creative journey a little easier from a financial standpoint. Their grants truly help artists accomplish dreams.

🚨Long Caption Alert!

Chile… The first quarter of the year has come and gone. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a start to a new year like this one.

While the world was spiraling, my little world got quiet and heavy real quick. By day 3 of 2025, I got hit with a diagnosis(non life threatening but still sucks) I’d secretly feared for a while. Hearing it out loud..It shook me. There’s something about certain words that mess with the future that you’ve imagined.

I didn’t get to sit that in that long before other storms were headed my way. But God showed me how to keep showing up—for myself and my village as we weathered some of those storms together.

As I reflect on where I was physically and emotionally, I can honestly say that hope and faith never left me.

The other day I looked in the mirror and said, “You’re healing.” Like not just inside, but on the outside too!

So this moment of worship has been loud in my spirit because it’s my testimony of God’s faithfulness.

The devil thought he had me… BUT I STILL GOT SOME MORE!

My lungs are still breathing
My mouth is still singing My hands are still reaching
I’m resting in His victory

Long Caption!

November was about being present and producing in excellence.

Starting off celebrating my Grandma turning 85 was so good for my heart. She’s hilarious frfr. I typically sing to my family over zoom, but I’m grateful to have the honor of doing it in person.

I finished a few things that I was leading! The final results are loading!

A song that I cowrote with some new songwriting friends drop on Hymnal Christmas Album. Check it out!

I led others but not at expensive of leaving myself behind.

Spent a lot of time with my little ppl because they bring a peace, calm, and pure joy into my world. They also have me weak with all the personality 😂

I had a vision of us doing a family dinner at church before the holiday. As soon as I told my leaders, they were like let’s make it happen and we did that!

November stretched me but it didn’t break me. I’m grateful for that! Now December is here, and it’s time to turn another year older and wiser.

My car is paid in full and I officially picked up my title today!

A few weeks ago on a Wednesday, I returned home to a surprise new a keyboard that God placed on someone’s heart to bless me with!

A few days later, I shared a post post simply to celebrate that I was a little over $400 until my car was paid in full. And God had someone send me the remaining balance to pay it all the way off that day!!

There were many ppl reaching out to figure out if that could give to the balance, but one person sent the full amount!

I haven’t worked a traditional job in over 2 years so I’m grateful for the blessing and the testimony that “GOD DID THAT!”

I’m a part of the jump, twirl, and run community! I also clap on the 2&4! So, I gave God an open air praise!

My twin sister said that I needed to give him a skate praise too!
