WE SAID WE’D DO IT.

You got us past $30,000, so we delivered.

Yorston got to spray FIVE of his least favourite firefighters, and judging by the smile on his face… he enjoyed that way too much. 😂

But we’re not done.

We’ve got just over 24 hours left on the roof, and the support from this community has been absolutely incredible.

So let’s keep it going.

Our next goal is $40,000.

And if you somehow get us to $50,000… we might have to come up with something really big. 👀

Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared, stopped by, sent messages, and helped carry this fundraiser farther than we ever expected.

Let’s see what we can do in the final 24 hours. 💙

Please excuse our dog. He misunderstood the assignment.

Anyway… check your smoke alarms. Sparky’s apparently done asking nicely.

THEY REALLY THOUGHT THEIR MOUSTACHES WERE SAFE. 🪒

They were not.

You got us to $40,000 for ALS, so the moustaches had to go.

Three beautiful moustaches. Gone.

Worth it. 💙

We’re now sitting at nearly $45,000 raised for the ALS Society of Alberta, and our donation page will stay open for a few more days.

So now the question is…

What happens if you somehow get us to $50,000? 👀

We may have to go even bigger.

Much bigger.

No promises yet… but let’s just say a few people around Chestermere might be nervous. 😂

Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, showed up, supported the crew, and helped make this fundraiser bigger than we ever expected.

THE CHIEFS ARE GETTING SCARED. 😳

We are getting very close to $40,000 and suddenly these three are starting to think maybe we’ve raised enough money.

Nice try.

If we hit $40,000, Chief Zebedee, Platoon Chief Paquette, and Platoon Chief Fournie are shaving the moustaches.

They are not excited about it.

We are.

If you’ve been waiting to donate, this is your moment.

🚒❤️ CAMPOUT FOR A CAUSE | Fighting ALS Together

Today, I had the privilege of photographing some of the incredible members of the Chestermere Fire Department, who are taking their commitment to community to new heights… quite literally!

After one of their own was diagnosed with ALS, these firefighters have rallied together for Campout for a Cause, camping out on the roof of their fire station to raise funds and awareness for the ALS Society of Alberta.

Their goal? $40,000! ❤️

And as if camping on a rooftop wasn’t enough, some of these firefighters have even promised to part ways with their beloved moustaches if they reach their fundraising goal! 🥸✂️

This is what community is all about. Showing up for one another, standing together through difficult times, and turning something heartbreaking into an opportunity to make a difference.

These firefighters spend their days showing up for our community. Now it’s our turn to show up for them.

Whether it’s a donation, a share, or simply helping spread the word, every little bit brings them closer to their goal.

❤️ Let’s help them reach $40K and shave those ’staches!

OK… NEW GOAL: $40,000. 👀

You absolutely blew past $30,000, so we figured we had to raise the stakes.

If we hit $40,000, Fire Chief Zebedee, Platoon Chief Paquette, and Platoon Chief Fournie have all agreed to shave off their glorious moustaches.

They are not happy about it. 😂

We are.

There are just over 40 HOURS LEFT in our rooftop campout.

The support so far has been unbelievable. Now let’s see if we can finish this with $40,000 for ALS and three freshly shaved upper lips.

Stay tuned tomorrow for your $30,000 prize.

Every donation gets us closer. 💙
