I'm so embarrassed for not highlighting the @mollydeanmusic album Interwoven from 2025. Produced by @scareypics (Bon Iver, Shadowlands, Bizhiki and solo work).

What a great pairing! This is an album to sit back in your favorite recliner, pull all the blinds, put the record on, and just fall into it. What a great record and one that you should definitely pick up.

With the current spotlight on Minneapolis and Minnesota as a whole, I'm compiling a Spotify Playlist of Minnesota artists to share with the world. I know it's a small thing, but I thought it might be an opportunity to share the great local artists we have in this state.

If you are an artist or know of a local artist that I can highlight in this Playlist, please comment and I'll take a listen.

Also, please help me with this by liking the post and sharing the Playlist.

We enjoyed the show on Thursday night with @danwilsonmusic SO much!

Personal story: The very first show I ever attended was @tripshakespeareofficial in November 1991. I was 13 years old, and my 19-year-old brother brought me. Thanks to him, I was exposed to some great music, and this kinda started it all for me. The drum solo at the end on The Slacks was, still to this day, the BEST drum solo I've ever seen live.

Then, in 1997/98, @semisonicband played at the University of Minnesota-Morris (I believe as a warm-up gig for a tour). My brother and I saw that show as well.

So, now, in 2025. I'm now 47yo, to see Dan Wilson play a solo show and talk about some of the collabations he's worked on over the past 30+ years. It felt like a full circle moment for me.

I've been to over 100 shows since 1991, but you always remember your first! taken in Sacred Heart Music Center by @chestersfindslps

As always, @jeremymessersmith and @dlawonn put on a great show at @glensheenmansion Concert on the Pier in #Duluth last night. Everytime we see these two perform, they never disappoint.

jeremy's lyrics, combined with his smooth vocals, provide an escape into the songs story. The songs would would not be complete without Dan's cello (or bass) and backing vocals. I especially love the cello on 666!

If only we could get an "All Hallows Eve" show at @sacredheartmusiccenter .......just sayin' by @chestersfindslps
