Inspired by the Silurian Hypothesis, “Before Us” stands at the crossroads of geology, archaeology, anthropology, paleontology, taphonomy, geochemistry, Earth science, history, astrobiology, civilization studies, philosophy of science and epistemology, different disciplines converging on one profound mystery: How much of the past can we truly know when time itself destroys the evidence?

“CIVILIZATIONS” explores artificial intelligence not as the end of human civilization, but as part of a greater cycle of intelligence, creation, evolution and succession. Civilizations rise, intelligence creates, creation evolves, and the cycle begins again.

I originally wrote this poem in Spanish for Salvadorans. This is the English translation.

I enjoy blending poetry, sport, and love into stories that explore the beauty and complexity of relationships.
