If you were part of this journey, let’s hear your favourite moments in the comments 👇🏻 We have to admit… it’s been emotional going through all these photos and memories 💙 We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of Chewing’s journey over the past five years. It hasn’t always been easy, but it has certainly been rewarding. It’s truly amazing what can be achieved when a hardworking creative community come together. What’s next for us? 👀 In August, we will be touring a gig-theatre project - Il-Kunsill Tat-Triq 🎤 - around different venues and festivals. Over the past 6 months, Funky Monkey, REA, and Alex have created a show driven by public participation and research and have assembled a team bringing local music and theatre communities together! Don’t miss it 💥 Stay tuned for more updates. #theatre #activism #theatreinmalta #theatrecommunity taken in Malta by @chewingproductions

Bħal-lum ġimgħa ilu, konna qed inħejju għal Il-Kunsill tat-Triq ta’ @chewingproductions. 🎭 Din il-produzzjoni ta’ gig theatre, żviluppata permezz ta’ workshops, intervisti u sessjonijiet ta’ kitba mużikali mar-residenti, artisti u kunsilli lokali, esplorat kif nieħdu d-deċiżjonijiet dwar l-ispazji pubbliċi u liema vuċijiet jinstemgħu. Kien ta’ pjaċir għalina, bħala Reġjun tal-Kultura 2026, li nġibu din il-produzzjoni u dawn it-talenti lokali fl-iskatepark il-ġdid ta’ Ġnien Tony Bezzina f’Raħal Ġdid. 💛 Grazzi lill-Malta Street Sport Association, lill-Kunsill Lokali ta’ Paola u lill-Kunsill Lokali tal-Isla, u fuq kollox lir-residenti kollha li attendew u ħadu sehem! @trumpetweenink @reamlt141 @141recordsofficial @funkymonkey141 📸 @carmela.k_photography taken in Paola, Malta by @chewingproductions

IL-KUNSILL TAT-TRIQQQQQQ 🔥 - IL-KUNSILL TAT-TRIQ: OVER AND OUT 🫡 And with that, we mark the end of this tour that meant so much to us, where we travelled around Malta bringing activism, hip-hop and theatre together. This project meant even more to us because it’s also Chewing’s last production (for now 👀) Thank you to everyone who supported us over these last five years, and to those who maybe got introduced to Chewing through this show. We hope you had as much fun watching as we had putting this performance on 💙 #theatreinmalta #theatre #hiphop #showsinmalta #activism by @chewingproductions
