In 2021, I came to Atlanta to attend Spelman. Two weeks after arriving, I connected with LIFE Church through the Merged College & Young Adult community. Since being here, I have grown in my relationship with God, and my passion for serving has increased. Slowly, I’ve come to surrender to the call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Being so, on Saturday, I was licensed as an Evangelist Missionary in the Church of God in Christ!It feels so surreal. To know me is to know my love for Jesus & His people. I didn’t see this for myself; instead God saw it for me and allowed my Pastor to acknowledge what God had been dealing with me about since before I came to Atlanta. By coming to LIFE, I was exposed to the broader church, and to the Church of God In Christ. Since being apart, I have grown to LOVE this church and I am grateful to be licensed to preach by this church. This habit, this license, this cross are not just sacred, but they are a sign of my devotion to spreading the gospel & making holiness attractive to young people everywhere. In 2024, this was prophesied, In 2025 — our year of MORE — God saw fit to manifest His will. I am grateful to be chosen & used by my Father. May my life give Him eternal glory 🩷Thank you, Pastor @terencemerritt for recognizing, affirming, & covering my gifts! Thank you, @d.denardjones , for leading me, inspiring me, and pulling the gifts out. Young ladies, may you know and remember that living a holy & separated life is possible, accepted, & attractive.
