What an honor!

Today we got to stand before our family, friends, and church community to dedicate not only our children to Christ; but our lives to raising them in the word and family of God! To cover them in prayer daily, asking God to continue to knock on the door of their heart all of their days. To lead by example and believe and anticipate when they ask Jesus to come into their heart and join the family of God forever 🤍

Blessed is an extreme understatement!

Thank you, to our family and friends who show us support each and everyday. To all those who were able to make it and watch it live, and those who wanted to but were unable to as well!

Thank you, New River Fellowship. Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of having a home church I could see my family in for years to come. When I say we have never experienced a church that represents Jesus so well! We are proud to call New River our home church and hopefully our forever church! I am in awe of the blessing of finding such a biblically sound community to raise our children in! 🤍

My oh, my. How are you TWO?! Time just won’t slow down. You are full of sunshine and grace. Giggles and sass. You have such a determination that puts me in awe every time I see it. You’re the perfect addition to our family. You came exactly when you were meant to and we couldn’t imagine our world without you in it, babygirl.

If you would’ve told me March 25th, 2026, that by June 4th, 2026 I’d be down 20.6lbs… I probably would’ve laughed. Not out of disrespect but simply out of disbelief. I’ve been wanting this for so long. I’ve started and stopped far more times than I could count on one hand. Always giving up when not seeing the results I yearned for… and if you told me all it would take is tracking calories, upping protein, and at least doing some cardio every day for me to see changes… I would’ve rolled my eyes… a part of me thought it was too late… or maybe even impossible for me. After all, I’ve tried many times before.
.
Yet, here in am. 71 days in, the rest of my life to go, and TWENTY POUNDS DOWN 🙌🏽🤯😭💪🏽🎉
.
I’m not sure I’ve ever truly hit such a weight loss milestone. Honestly, I can’t say for sure because I avoided the scale for so long. I’ve had to find my rhythm for sure. For instance, I simply can’t and won’t weigh myself everyday or even every few days… I tried it, and it was really messing with my mind. Yes, I understand that weight fluctuates, however I also am working through some crazy body dysmorphia; So for me I’ve found that weighing myself once a week is what’s working for me. I find myself holding my breath watching the numbers change and hoping it doesn’t go up. The scale is the only thing my brain will accept as proof that my work is paying off.

I’ll be honest. I had noble take this picture of me to send to my mom because I thought this last minute Walmart shirt to attend a party, after staining my original shirt with makeup on the drive 😅🫣 was cute and I wanted to show her 🤣
.
There’s so many reasons I’ve tried to convince myself not to share this picture. I’ve been saying to myself “The angle is off. The wind is blowing the shirt weird. The shirt is a lot more flattering in person. You’re standing weird…” etc, etc, etc… but I want to celebrate this milestone. So here I am posting a pic that wasn’t even taken for this post. BUT a picture that shows what a difference the last 71 days have made! Not only in my weight, but my mood, energy, and determination! I’m doing this for me, for my kids, and for my life! Noble, thank you growing with me. I love the little family we became and created. God has and continues to bless us immensely and I love doing this life with you!
