I have a new respect for New Yorkers because this subway was confusing as hell.

I had high hopes. Can someone bring back duck donuts?

It tasted like hotdog water only. All those toppings and No flavor whatsoever. I took two bites and threw it away.

I feel like my video does this beautiful piece of meat no justice. It fell off the bone. The macaroni was pretty good too. I am on the fence about the cornbread. It’s different to say the least.

I’m packing my bags. I’m moving here.

Dear Me. by @cheynarey

1800s “THE GOVERNESS HAS FORGOTTEN HER PLACE.”

My husband has become extraordinarily concerned with the welfare of our new governess.
He checks on her after dinner.
After the children are asleep.
And apparently… after I am asleep.
Unfortunately for them, I wasn’t sleeping Tuesday evening.
I watched that man tiptoe into the library at midnight.
The governess followed five minutes later.
By breakfast, the entire household knew, because servants may be discreet, but servants are NOT blind.
I dismissed her immediately.
My husband shouted, “You cannot simply throw her out!”
I reminded him that the estate, the horses, the servants, and the money all belonged to my family.
Then I leaned across the breakfast table and said,
“Darling, the only person in this house I cannot dismiss is you. But I assure you I’m researching it.”

1900s “MISS LILLIAN PARKER”

Arthur has been coming home late claiming business at the office has become terribly demanding.
Then my cousin Ruth heard something peculiar from the telephone operator.
Arthur has been placing nightly calls to Miss Lillian Parker.
Sometimes for nearly an hour.
So this evening I asked, “Arthur, who is Lillian?”
This man nearly inhaled his mustache.
Then he had the audacity to say she was his secretary.
Arthur doesn’t HAVE a secretary.
So while he slept, I packed his finest suits, cuff links, shaving kit, and evening shoes.
The carriage delivered everything directly to Miss Parker’s residence.
Tomorrow morning Arthur will discover his wardrobe missing.
And tucked inside his suitcase is my note:
“Since Miss Parker has your evenings, she may have your laundry as well.”

1920s “THE SPEAKEASY SCANDAL”

Everybody told me Charles had been sneaking around with a little flapper named Josephine.
I said surely my husband wasn’t that stupid.
Turns out… he was.
I walked into the speakeasy and there they were, champagne flowing, knees touching, Charles whispering into her ear.
And Josephine was wearing a pearl bracelet I thought I’d LOST.
Oh, sweetheart.
I walked right to their table and said, “Charles, darling, introduce me to the woman wearing my jewelry.”
Josephine nearly choked on her cigarette.
Apparently Charles told her I had by @cheynarey

10 YEARS with the Know Your Rights Camp. 🖤✊🏾

What started as an invitation from @nessnitty became a ministry of service, pouring into our youth and our communities in ways I never imagined. From Community Outreach Coordinator to Admin, Registrar, MC and everything in between, I’ve worn every hat with pride and purpose.

I’m proud of @kaepernick7 for never folding, never wavering, and standing firmly in what he believes. I’m proud of our @yourrightscamp family, especially the OGs who have kept the love, foundation, and mission alive.

What a blessing to witness the fruit of a vision and continue doing the work alongside a legend while helping carry forward his legacy.

10 years down. The mission continues. Family Forever.❤️ by @cheynarey

BECOME HER… a message to you and me (I have to pour into myself too because I’m not perfect and fall off track). I pray that you tap into your PURPOSE THIS YEAR. Say YES to being a vessel and allowing people to experience Gods blessings through your great works (whatever that looks like). Remember, ministry comes in different forms and rarely involves a church… why? Because YOU are the church. You woke up, therefore, your job is not done yet. #GodisMvmt by @cheynarey
