On se revoit l’an prochain. 🖤 by @chez.claudette

The Poutine Trail · 7 poutines, 14 days, one road trip through Québec 🥔🧀 Whatever you’re craving, Québec has a poutine for it. We tried seven on our 14-day road trip. The classic — Cast Iron CAD at Bistro Montebello. Creamy, three ingredients, no tricks. Fried chicken on it — popcorn chicken poutine at Auger, Grand-Mère. Shawarma — don’t choose. 3 Brothers, Ottawa, puts the whole thing on top. Feeling fancy — beef cheek poutine at La Forge, Mont-Tremblant. The most expensive beef on earth — wagyu poutine at Grillade La Bohème, Charlevoix. History with dinner — duck confit at Aux Anciens Canadiens, Québec City, in a house built in 1675. A deluxe pizza — don’t call Domino’s. Pizza poutine at Chez Claudette, Montréal. Check out the rest of my reels on my page. Sixty Seconds of Snacks with Colbz! Welcome back to another edition that’s longer than 60 seconds! I’m thinking maybe I should change the name but whatever, it doesn’t really matter. In this edition my close friend Wei and I got to indulge in a classic Montreal institution @chez.claudette and it was absolutely fantastic! I of course went for the classic casse-croute route while Wei decided to try one of their diner options, spaghetti. I have to say that the looks the staff, chef and fellow patrons gave him ordering that dish while they were closing were hilarious! But we gotta cut him some slack! He’s Chinese so he’s not a big cheese guy, in fact cheese gives him diarrhea, thus why he didn’t order a poutine. After this late night visit I’m slowly closing my list of the top steamies and poutine spots in the glorious city of Montreal, one day that video will come out, until then keep it real! I also have to give a shout out to @drunkfrenchcanadian for the recommendation, love ya Stef! #chezclaudette #hotdog #poutine #montreal #snack by @chez.claudette
I am filled with regret… That I didn’t try MORE hot dogs and poutine in Montreal. It’s a little known secret that Montreal is one of the world’s best food cities and the late night food scene is just as amazing. @chez.claudette absolutely delivered. Hot dogs AND poutine? What more can you want? I learned on the trip that hot dogs are called “steamies” and are served “all dressed” which is mustard, onion, relish, and a vinegar slaw. But I will say…. I think I actually received a “toastie” last night as you can see by my grilled bun. Still delicious. The traditional poutine is well known and has frites, gravy, and cheese. But many spots get creative with their poutine and add meat and other toppings. Truly delightful. #montrealfood #poutine #gohabsgo #hotdogs #montrealeats by @chez.claudette
