Kitchen tiles grouted and in ⬜️ (grout is still drying) kitchen is basically complete, just need to box the pipes under the boiler in. Plumber has been today to measure the radiators and get them replaced. Garden has been stripped back to see what we are working with. Still no further with the bathroom … by @chezz.cozycorner

1 month since we got the keys, what should be a exciting new chapter has been shadowed with a lot of sadness and grief of my old life. However, let’s try and look at what we have achieved and be proud to be in a position to give my boy a safe and cosy home. We have replaced a broken garage door, painted lots! made a lot of house decisions and big shopping purchases, ripped out a kitchen and bathroom, electrics wired, and the kitchen is in final stages. Next up is the bathroom, finish the skirtings and final paint tidying up. by @chezz.cozycorner

tiles purchased 💰 sneak peak of the floor tiles against the worktop and cabinet colours. I’ve found this week very hard with my personal emotions at a all time low and feeling a bit useless with the progress in the flat, but glad to have finished the week on a high deciding on the kitchen wall and floor tiles. Also saved some money on the tiles with a nhs offer keeping the budget down as much as possible. by @chezz.cozycorner

Pipes as messy as my head 🥴 I’m struggling with all the changes in my life at the moment, but grateful to have my new place to put my energy into. These are the pipes after a tidy up believe it or not, the kitchen cupboards can be secured in the right places. by @chezz.cozycorner

Goodbye Kitchen 😱👋🏼 my builder wasted no time getting this out the last few days, however we now need a plumper to come sort out those messy pipes. And an electrician to come get some more plug sockets in before we can start fitting the new one. by @chezz.cozycorner

Painting diaries - made good progress with painting this week, still lots to do but proud of what’s been done. I had my sister help one evening, so grateful. One thing I learnt was I am a messy painter, how so much ends up on me I don’t know 👩🏻‍🎨 by @chezz.cozycorner

Current kitchen 🍋 I’ve had some kitchen designs drawn up and ordered one today. Soon be time to get this ripped out and give it a more more modern makeover. The kitchen is very small, so need to utilise the space we have, no room for clutter by @chezz.cozycorner

Bathroom Inspo… whilst I can’t afford anything like these pictures, it was fun browsing getting some ideas anyway. I have just placed an order on my final choices, and found a 15% discount code, so very happy with that money saved, it all helps when on a tight budget 🛁 by @chezz.cozycorner
