Star Trek Captain's Chair is a card game for 1-2 players, where you get to play as all sorts of different captains from across all of Trek. It has a dizzying array of keywords and is a lot to learn, but I've been enjoying it a ton. I'm a causal Trekkie, and lots of the references are lost on me, but it's such a solid game that I don't mind. #boardgames by @chgreenblatt

The Gang is a co-operative poker game for 3-6 players. You're building a hand, Texas Hold 'Em style, and then trying to evaluate your hand against the other players without talking. But you take chips to communicate your feeling about your hand, with more stars on the chips equaling greater confidence. You can add challenges and specialists to spice it up as well. #boardgames by @chgreenblatt

Night at the Zoo is a game where you are trying to help lost animals get back to the zoo by drafting tiles and creating pathways. Each animal has unique movement and/or scoring, of which you'll randomly chose 3 per game. It's a fun puzzle to get as many of them back before time runs out, and it even has a glow in the dark cover! #boardgames by @chgreenblatt

Ofrenda is a game where you draft cards (representing your ancestors deceased family) to put into an altar. It's a tricky spacial puzzle, where each card has a neighbor requirement in order to flip to its lit side, thus gaining you points. Marigolds are currency you use to get cards as well as gain points once placed in your altar. And candles offer extra scoring opportunities if you achieve their goals. It's a simple, yet very challenging game where you slowly box yourself in, much like Calico, but with a unique and beautiful theme. #boardgames by @chgreenblatt

Papyria is an interesting game where you are moving around a rondel, picking up tiles that include topography, scoring modifiers, and scoring actions. You create all your point opportunities yourself by the world you build. And most things that score require you to destroy other things that score. So you're challenged with a push and pull of maximizing your layout. Plus there's a track that limits how much you can score at any one time, so you need to constantly be pushing up that as well to get the BIG points. #boardgames by @chgreenblatt
