Did you go to your father's house today?

It's always a pleasure to be in his presence..

Well I will be sharing my highlights from today's service.
They are

1. It is important to be honest with yourself when identifying spiritual lapses and weaknesses.

2. Spiritual weakness can be dangerous if not identified and treated immediately.

How do you know you are spiritually weak or sick?

Here are a few pointers

-When your spiritual routine is not consistent.
-When you relegated spiritual activities to the background.
- When you spend less time communicating with your heavenly father..

Now it's time to share yours. What did you learn at service today?

Let me know in the comments 👇

Did you visit your father today? 🤔

Last week I couldn't share my lessons from service. Did I forget No, but I was so engaged that I couldn't gist you guys..

So let's get into today's lessons. Today's discussion was very relatable, why? It spoke on our sinful condition as humans and how we can resist our sinful nature when it comes. Can we win the fight against sinful tendencies? YES, I will be sharing 5 key points on how we can win.

1. Take accountability when you engage in wrong doing- STOP blaming others when you engage in wrongdoing. "If he was here I wouldn't have done this or that", "if this or if that" abeg don't do that..Be honest with yourself and identify your weaknesses as a person and as a servant of Jehovah God.

2. All humans living and breathing struggle with wrong desires- this is a fact. We inherited sin from Adam and Eve, so we all struggle with wrong desires..You are not alone, with Jehovah's help you can overcome it.

3. There is a difference between practicing wrong doing( which we can control) and desiring wrong doing (which may happen involuntarily)- we have the ability to control ourselves from carrying out wrong desires..that ability is called SELF CONTROL and fortunately we can cultivate it.

4. We can anticipate temptation and avoid it- Joseph is a perfect example of one who avoided temptation. He was immediate and decisive in taking action to FLEE from Potiphar's wife. We can do the same..funny enough Joseph is like all of us he is an imperfect human.

And finally

5. We can regularly take a maintenance routine on our life choices to see if they still align with Jehovah's standards of right and wrong - 2 Cor 13:5 helps us to see the need to "keep testing whether we are in the faith".

It's always a pleasure dining in my father's courtyard and learning practical ways to maintain my relationship with him.

Which of the lessons shared can you relate to?

Did you visit your father today?

Today's lesson at my Christian meeting was a reminder of Jehovah's love for me.

Yes me ..I call myself Jehovah's baby girl..I'm my father's daughter..Jehovah God is soooo real to me..I remember a scripture that always reminds me of his love for me..Romans 8:38,39- Not even death can separate me from the love of Christ through his father Jehovah.

So I'm going to highlight 5 key lessons from today's service..here we go👇

📌 Satan is an opportunist- he takes advantage of our lowest moments and makes us feel like Jehovah doesn't love us. So at that moment we feel low , we need to convince ourselves of God's love and reach out to our father.

📌 Jehovah's loyal love for me endures forever- As long as I keep my own part of the bargain in giving my father whole souled service , he will keep his own part by loving me even in my imperfect state.

📌 Jehovah collects my tears in his skin bottle- argghhh..the psalmist is a poet..a damn good one at that . Psalm 56:8 expresses how Jehovah is interested in me..small me..🤧🤧

📌 Jehovah's love for me is expressed through the ransom sacrifice of his son Jesus Christ. Can you beat that.. Sacrificing your only son just for me..No na..that is unconditional love..

📌 Jehovah draws us close to him - (James 4:8) Jehovah reaches out to those who are honest-hearted. Those who draw close to him get firsthand Jehovah's unwavering love and affection..

I can go on and on about Jehovah's love for me. He is just too good.. don't ever doubt for a tiny bit of second that Jehovah doesn't love you..he does and he always will.

Selah🤝

What did you learn today at your father's house?

Basking in the glory of my father...

I will be starting a series where I share what I learnt from service every Sunday..

📌 it is life-saving to build your faith in Jehovah and his son Jesus Christ.

📌Today I learnt the importance of prayer, bible study and interchange of encouragement from my Christian brothers and sisters during challenging times. These factors can help me endure even the most difficult of times.

Did you visit your father today?
If you did , what did you learn? 🤔

If you want to see a challenge, wake up by 5am in order to be at the gym very early😔😑😞😞😞

The struggle is realllll....I must tell you for free, that is the part I hate the most..
Getting out of bed and prepping to the gym...

You know, that early hours of the morning sleep hits differently. From 3am-6am..arrrghhh the sleep is sweeter then..

But discipline is not a default system, it is built overtime..And if I'm grateful for good health , I have to maintain my good health. Make me help Jehovah for the work wey him dey do for me 🤣🤣..

What is stopping you, YES YOU from hitting the gym? 🤔

Are you content? 🤔 Or plain Ungrateful 😕

On Sunday I resonated with the topic that was discussed during my Christian meeting. The theme of the discussion was " Have you learned the secret of contentment"?
Hmmmmm🤔

One of the secrets discussed was GRATITUDE.. I meditated on how gratitude and contentment are interwoven to create a bigger picture of being truly content...how the little things of life can make you content and happy.

And I decided to always be grateful, because the bible says in 1 Cor 4:7- what do you have that you did not receive?

I chose to have a mental list of things I'm grateful for..s here it goes,

1. Life- so underrated but very precious.

2. Good health - No one is truly healthy, but at least I'm not at the hospital.

3. My husband - because he is my life partner .

4.My family - I will always value and love them.

5. My relationship with Jehovah God- argghhh..this one hit me at the right spot..I am my father's daughter.. Jehovah's baby girl..I always tell myself that because I know he drew me close to serve him fully .

Now what are you grateful for?

The ugly truth no one tells you about executing an idea is the 50/50 chance on it being either a failure or a success...

But the goal is to START...

I started a virtual book club with 6 ladies in November 2024, hence the name THE MINIBOOKCLUB. The idea was to build a reading habit while flipping pages. These ladies were my accountability partners.

We were all focused on one thing GROWTH through the pages of intentionally selected books. Our book reviews were held on weekends and it was just so Inspiring..

But some good things come to an end.. the first challenge was our busy schedules, then consistency in reviewing the books and eventually the fire to read died down slowly..

We tried , we fanned the flames of reading maybe we didn't fan it enough 😕..But this idea will be revisited and structured properly as a sustainable project..

These were the books we read during the 6 months we were together,

1. The Art of Laziness by Library Mindset - This book was a personal call - out to all of us.

2. Things No One Taught Us About Love by Vex King- A must read on understanding love and its expressions..it was an eye-opener.

3. Rich dad Poor dad by Robert T.K - A must read on Financial knowledge and implementation.

4. Atomic Habits by James Clear- if you want to build good habits that turn into functional systems, this is a perfect read

If no one will tell you this , I will..

All emotions demand to be felt..How you react is up to you 😏

Even negative emotions are felt but our response determines how we have grown emotionally and mentally..

So when you feel overwhelmed next time if you STOP and PAUSE you won't die, the world won't end ... It's a break not an end to your journey.. Take your time to recalibrate your steps , restructure your mental state, and take a deep breath.

Na who d!e lose oooo!!!! Take care of your health 📌
