The deadline to purchase program ads and congratulations messages for this year's Chicago/Midwest Emmy® Awards is Thursday, October 15th.

Visit chicagoemmy.org to submit your design, and please remember:
- Files should be at least 300dpi.
- Ads can be in color or grayscale. If color, CMYK is preferred.
- For full page ad, add bleed of 0.125”, therefore full size is 8.75” x 11.25”.

ON WEDNESDAY – The second annual STARS FOR SARA benefit event will be bringing together some of Chicago’s most beloved musicians, media personalities and entertainers for one very special cause at the @desplainestheatre.

Created by @rozvaronabc7, veteran WLS-TV Traffic Anchor, Stars for Sara honors the memory of her daughter, Sara Janz, who passed away at just 29. Entertainment producer Ron Onesti generously donated the Des Plaines Theatre for this special evening.

The event will raise funds for the “Sara Janz Take Your Shot Memorial Scholarship” through the Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS), the producer of the Chicago/Midwest Emmy® Awards, ensuring Sara’s light continues to inspire future generations of media professionals.

Hosted by Chicago/Midwest Emmy®-winning journalist Val Warner and featuring performances by @amerengbeatles, @jessewhitetumblers, and more, the event promises to be an unforgettable night of entertainment and remembrance.

We are thrilled to welcome back Kristen Toomey as the host of the 68th Annual Chicago/Midwest Emmy® Awards! 🏆

@kristentoomey’s comedy career began in Chicago in 2008 and since then she’s become a beloved fixture in the city’s stand-up scene. Those of you who were in attendance at our gala last year will already be familiar with her commanding stage presence, and her energetic, expressive, and truthful style of comedy are just a few of the reasons she was named “Best Chicago Comedian” for the second time in 2025.

She can be seen headlining clubs and festivals all over North America, but on October 24th she’ll be with us at the Swissotel Chicago celebrating excellence in the Midwest. Visit emmyonline.org to get your ticket before they’re gone!
