💩 in the dating pool?? ABSOLUTELY! Were we both pretty much over romantic relationships by the time we met? YES! In fact, we both were like, “Here goes another BS date🥱,” but we still showed up for the entertainment of it all 🤣🤷🏾‍♀️. It was truly a late night spontaneous meeting at a bar that ended up being one of the best dates we had ever had! We both left on a high that we didn’t want to come down on.

Fast forward to a year, yeh we never had the “honeymoon” stage. We just had a honeymoon night. 🤣 The fact that we were so raw and honest with each other made us aware of our issues that we THOUGHT we had worked on. Turned out we had hella work to do. Has this relationship been perfect? NO! Have we almost broke up a million times? YES 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 but guess what? We signed up for it! We came in to this withOUT that representative that most of us send for the first few months to a year. When you are truly tired of the BS there will be no tricks or bending over backwards. Either you will accept each other or NOT and you do your best to improve the negotiables.

We have done and are the work. As long as you are in a relationship with another human being it’s going to require consistency in handling things positively. We have intentional meetings and journaling sessions. We’re a very open about our feelings and needs. Our goal is to just “do life” together while loving, making each other better in the process, and having fun!

So here’s to 1 year down and more to go!!

Please join me in wishing #myking👑 a Happy Earth Strong day - It was yesterday but I was forbade to touch my phone so yall gone get it today! 🤣

I know it’s cliché to say someone fell out the sky, but I’m telling you that’s what it felt like lol… It’s like when you least expect something, that’s when you’re smacked in the face with it. In this case I don’t mind being smacked OK!? 🤣🤪

But on a serious note, ALL of our lives are our own journeys. It’s crazy how our journeys are moving in their own directions, but the addition of each other hasn’t taken us off of our own courses. He just “fits” w/ no force like a 🧩. The way he shows up for me and others is so touching and it makes it easy to reciprocate. I love how he is dedicated to growth and grounding; he’s always seeking knowledge & elevation.

One of his biggest qualities for me is his ability to actually feel and be vulnerable. That alone has helped me to soften up and become more trusting. We have so much fun together, laugh A LOT, and have so many deep conversations. For that I’m grateful! So here’s to celebrating more Earthdays together Bubby!

Taking a chance on love with you has landed me in Jamaica and experiencing paradise w/ a WHOLE MF SNACK and I can’t be happier!! I hope you enjoyed all of your surprises Bubb!

Baby listen, if I had $1 for every time someone felt a WAY about me or I doubted myself, I’d be RICH! I can’t do anything about others because that’s a THEM PROBLEM! Unfortunately, I’m not extra terrestrial (as I’d like to be cuz humans IRK) so yes, I do feel things, but I don’t let it knock me off my rocker entirely too long. At the end of the day, we are all imperfect. We have our shortcomings, but we have to live our lives for US no matter WHO TF has something to say! Sometimes the opinions of the ones we mostly care about can get in our heads, but we have to stay the course and truly believe in our to help us because if we don’t, you know, others won’t. So on this “WE DON’T A PHUCK WEDNESDAY”, I encourage you to stay grounded, move in silence & love, and reveal your wins IF and when u want cuz WHO gone check you? Enjoy the fruits of your labor, discipline, long days, nights, and LITERAL blood, sweat, and tears! Keep your head up and surround yourself with the ones who will push and support you! 🖤

Auntie can’t STAND being cold but baby, the clothing for cooler weather always SNAPS! I love layers, jackets & coats, a cold pair of boots, hats, scarves, and the in between fashion on the cusp of fall and winter! LOVE IT! If I had it my way, it would be hot enough for shorts in the day time and JUUUUUST cool enough to be able to pull off a nice layered look in the evening year round!! Where can I move for that? 👀

last year we camped out with #outdoorafro this year we were invited by @se7enclub to attend #tntranch camping festivities! It was from Thursday-Sunday and some folks are there NEOWWWW! It was a time. They had a HUGE #bonfire yoga every morning (forgot to put it in my video), a drone race, a gun range competition, a fish fry, bumper ball matches, karaoke (which I sang of course), bouncy houses and MORE! It was definitely LIT! If you’re in to camping this is the crew for you!! They have camping events in October and in April so stay tuned! #blackcamp #campinglifestyle by @chi_style

I did some research and did some math and a 3 x 3 square will give you about 10 of protein.
• 2-3 ripe bananas, mashed
• 2 eggs
•¾ cup milk of choice
•½ cup Greek yogurt
• 2 cups rolled oats One Degree Organic
Foods
• 2 scoops vanilla protein powder Equip
Foods
• 1 cup grated carrot
• ½ cup chopped pecans/walnuts
• 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
• 1 tsp cinnamon
•¼ tsp ginger
• ¼ tsp nutmeg
• 1 tsp baking powder + pinch of salt
Topping:
1 cup cottage cheese + 2 tbsp Greek yogurt + 2 tbsp honey + splash of vanilla + cinnamon. Blend until smooth!
Mix baked oat ingredients in a 8x8 dish & bake at 350°F for 30-35 min. Let cool, top & slice into 4 servings. You can store the topping separately.

That’s what I did. I also mixed in some cream cheese to give it a little more firmness. I also added a little more honey to taste. Definitely tweak the recipe to your liking.

• 1 15.5 oz can black beans, drained and rinsed* or 1.5 cups cooked black
beans (225-260g)
• 3/4 cup granulated sugar 150g
• 4 large eggs 200g
• 5 tbsp melted butter or oil of your choice (vegetable, canola, grapeseed, avocado, a mild olive oil or refined coconut oil all work) 70g
• 1 tbsp vanilla extract
• 5 tbsp cocoa (Dutch-process
preferred) 26g
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp baking soda

I FINALLY made it to @frizzfest after 9 years! I’d like to petition for it to be on Sundays so us beauty industry folks can attend without losing coins! 👀

Anywho, a time was had baby!! My favorite purchase was the leather Africa embroidered sweatshirt from @true_trifecta she also allowed people to color some of her artwork and then turned them into buttons on the spot for free!

What you saw me stuffing in my face was an incrediroll #lobsterroll from @kravingsbycortney 🔥🔥🔥

Those self made fidgets that @parker_sekai and @beingblake.b hand made were from the @thatstutucutee booth

I thoroughly enjoyed @singkirbysing she was high energy the whole time! Come baaaack sis!! 💃🏾

Our nightcap at The Penny Drop Bar & Restaurant located in @hiltonpennywellstl was just what I needed after a long day at the park. Our bartender made some fabulous drinks and we loved the homemade potato chips & chicken sliders!

I slept so good and was wore OUT the next morning!

I’m happy with my purchase from @mixtiles if you want a QUICK change for your space definitely check them out! Print ANY pic from your phone; even the screenshots you stole off of Google lol! They also have illustrations on different ways on how you can hang your photos; so it doesn’t have to be in a row just like mine. They have one that helps you place your photos in a heart shape and other shapes. They also have packages to fit almost any budget!

I would also like to add that I purchased these five years ago and they have been on my wall since Covid LMAO! I made the video. I totally forgot to post it. While I was cleaning out my camera roll today I found it. So hopefully this lets you know that they really do stick on the walls lol
