CALL OR NOTHING.

For Corey Jacobsen, elk hunting is about one thing: calling.

A 12-time World Champion caller, Corey came into this hunt with a simple rule:

If he couldn’t call a bull, he wasn’t going to kill one.

No shortcuts. No changing the game plan. Just chasing elk the way he loves to hunt them.

Tomorrow, we follow Corey into the mountains as he puts that belief to the test.

CALL OR NOTHING
A new PEAX film with Corey Jacobsen.

Tomorrow • 10 AM MT

If yall didn’t know , I’m a massive gear nerd. I’m lucky to get a lot of time in the backcountry and I’m going to start putting some of my testing and adventure films out there for everyone to see. Starting with stoves. Stay tuned for the final video where I thoroughly test out some of my personal favorite backcountry stoves like the @roughridgestove , @sumetgear , @jetboil , @toaksoutdoor , @firemaple_gear and more in the full video.

Is this the Ram we were hoping for? After 3 days of passing on several younger rams @jordan_scambray finally spotted one worth chasing. He gave us the slip the evening before as we couldn’t get to him before daylight ended. The next morning we returned to relocate him. We spotted a group of sheep we thought he must be with but lost them in the thick cedar. Suddenly a group of sheep were directly below us on our side of the mountain but I had doubts it was the same group that contained our target ram. After repositioning we found a small window through the cedars and spotted a great ram. Whether he was him or not, we didn’t want to let the opportunity pass so we quickly setup for steep downhill 170 yd shot. In an instant it was over and we were left standing there asking ourselves….. Is He Him? #peax #aoudadhunting #thriveonthe🏔 taken in West Texas by @chiam_films
