Chicago Water Taxi = one of the best low-cost summer activities in the city 🚤Start: Michigan Ave Dock📍400 N Michigan AveEnd: Chinatown / Ping Tom Park📍1700 S Wentworth Tickets are $10 one way and can be purchased online at Chicago Water Taxi or at the dock.The full Michigan Ave → Chinatown route takes about 45 minutes with skyline views the entire ride.Current service runs daily, with departures starting around 10 AM through early evening (times vary by dock). Per their website “ A $5-per-order transaction fee applies to all Illinois Free Day ticket reservations. 🔭 @adlerplanet free for IL residents. Visit adlerplanetarium.org/visit/tickets/special-offers/ to reserve your tickets! Proof of residency require at checkout 🖼️ @mcachicago visit their website > admission > select a Tuesday on the calendar > click Chicago resident > check out. ID may be checked upon admission. 🦕 @fieldmuseum free on Wednesdays. Tickets for Free Wednesdays are only available to Illinois residents on-site and cannot be reserved in advance. Please ask a Visitor Services staff member for the special offer and show your Illinois proof of residency.
