Celebrate with us as we welcome new Chicago talent on our runway and in our marketplace, @x.markstheshop Since 2015 we’ve included a market in our shows spotlighting big and small makers. We’re proud to announce this year in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, in October, we have pledged to donate a portion our ticket sales to the Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Foundation 🎀 We continue to uplift emerging designers by awarding our in-house grant to a recipient for their own runway show and workshops to help them navigate through their business. To date we have awarded over $30,000 in mentorship and runway show production. Each one of our ticket holders has contributed in making this happen. We applaud everyone who has purchased a ticket since 2015, you’ve all made an impact in supporting the growing fashion industry Chicago. We look forward to seeing you all at this year’s show. What started as a dream and a handful of creatives has grown into a powerful platform for designers, models, and artists seeking space to be seen and celebrated. “A Pink Moment For Chicago” is the concluding runway show of @chicagofashionshowcase taking place on October 15th at Union Station, 225 S. Canal St. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month we’ve curated a show featuring a variety of designers. We’d like to welcome @dana.asady to our runway and express gratitude for participating in this charity show in honor of those affected by breast cancer and to raise funds while bringing awareness to breast cancer research @lynnsagebreastcancer About the designer: Founded by Dana Asady, aŚady represents the elegant intersection of intellect, artistry, and heritage. With a background in science and engineering, Dana built a career defined by precision, innovation, and leadership before turning that same analytical mastery toward her lifelong passion — fashion design. On October 15th at Union Station, ‘A Pink Moment For Chicago’ will be the concluding show for @chicagofashionshowcase in benefit of the Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Foundation that will feature garments of pink hues, patterns or accents. Join us in welcoming @carmenseminarioatelier to this year’s show. Carmen Seminario is a Peruvian fashion designer with over 15 years of experience in bridal, eveningwear, and bespoke tailoring. Internationally trained, she specialized in Bridal and Ceremony Design in Barcelona and later studied tailoring at London College of Fashion. Throughout her career, Carmen has dressed players from Peru’s National Football Team, as well as international artists and personalities. Her work has been featured by ABC7 Chicago and, most recently, Fête Lifestyle Magazine. Now based in Chicago, Carmen continues to work closely with her atelier in Lima, bringing together her Peruvian heritage, international training, and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship to create pieces that are distinctive, personal, and made to be remembered.
