Help us keep fire safety part of the conversation in every Chicago home.

•Test your smoke alarms monthly.
•Plan and practice your home fire escape plan.
•Stay in the kitchen while frying, grilling or broiling.
•Replace damaged electrical cords and avoid overloading outlets.

Make time to talk about these steps with everyone in your household. Prevention starts with awareness.

Honoring their service. Remembering their lives. Keeping their legacy alive.

On September 27, the CFD family gathered for the 43rd Annual Rosehill Cemetery Memorial Service, hosted by Chicago Fire Fighters Union Local 2.

Together, we remembered the active and retired firefighters and paramedics who passed away over the last year.

To their families and loved ones: you will always be part of our CFD family.

Forever honored. Never forgotten.
