One last walk through this beautiful home before handing it over to its new owners ❤️

What a journey it’s been….the highs, the hurdles, the lessons, and the patience it took to bring it all together and yet, standing here now, I’d do it all over again.

I’m so proud of what we’ve created, a true family home, filled with beautiful natural light and a light, summery soul ☀️ I have no doubt the new owners will love every minute living here.

Now it’s time for a new chapter. The pink developer boots are coming off (for a little while!) 👷‍♀️💗 as I shift my focus to our other business @fixmywater… and in the meantime start dreaming about designing and building our forever home. Watch this space!

The last 12 months has all come down to this day! Blood, sweat and tears and a new family to call it home. Bring on Auction Day today at 3pm. by @chicdevelopments

There’s something undeniably captivating about curves, especially in home design. From the walls and island bench to the balustrading and front fence, the subtle curves we’ve incorporated make a bold statement. They add a unique touch that sets this home apart and have become a real talking point for anyone who steps inside.

I’m thrilled to share that our latest project at 13 Lind Ave in Southport is now officially complete!

From start to finish, this home has been a journey of creativity, craftsmanship and commitment to quality. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed to create a space that is incredibly beautiful and truly feels like home.

A huge thank you to our talented team and to all of YOU for following along and supporting us. This project has been a labor of love and we couldn’t be prouder of the final result.

The house is now officially on the market and open for inspection with the search on now for the family who will be lucky enough and blessed to call this place home.

As we wrap up this project, we’re already looking forward to what’s next but first a little rest and relaxation! Stay tuned for more to come in the near future.

A lot has changed on our site since my last post in April and the house is coming together really well.

Cladding and windows ✔️
Plaster walls ✔️
Cabinetry and stone tops ✔️
Tiling complete ✔️
Stairs installed ✔️

I’m loving the curved walls, the skylights and the high pitched ceiling in the upstairs TV room. It has such a great flow and lovely feel with so much natural light piercing through each window. Painter commences next week and with around 7 weeks left to go we’re gearing up for a very strong finish.

After enduring weeks of relentless rain, our project finally has a roof! We opted for Colorbond Trimdeck roofing in Surfmist, perfectly complementing the modern coastal vibe of our home. It’s amazing how a fresh roof can completely transform the look and feel of a space!

Our Lind project is rapidly taking shape, with significant milestones achieved in the past few weeks. From laying down the concrete slab to completing the steel suspended floor and frame, each step has brought us closer to realizing our vision. This time around, we’ve opted for a steel house frame, prioritizing strength, durability, and pest resistance to ensure a robust foundation for our modern coastal design.

Choosing a steel frame offers numerous advantages, aligning perfectly with our commitment to quality and longevity. Not only does it provide superior structural integrity, but it also offers resilience against common challenges like pests and weather elements.

Next stage - Colorbond roof, flashing and gutters. Stay tuned!

It’s incredible how much can be achieved in only a few days! A deep hole excavated, steel erected and pool shell poured, all just in time for the Christmas break. Huge thanks to our builder @blackwoodbuilding.co for their dedication and determination to tick this stage off before the end of the year.

I am beyond thrilled to announce the commencement of our Lind Ave project and couldn’t be more excited than to share the first render of this gorgeous home, soon to come to life.

This 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom home is set to showcase a fresh modern coastal look that harmoniously aligns with both the vibrant Chirn Park precinct and glorious Gold Coast lifestyle.

Expressions of interest are now open for anyone keen to explore ownership of this home. We anticipate a completion date around October next year.
