hello friends of the fest! this year’s main event will take place on October 10th at the beautiful 99 year old @ucrogerspark ! it will feature performances from chicago bands @painbody.chicago @diondre_dunigan @livingthing____ and the powerful combination of @shrav.drums & @its.fruitleather ! its a masks required, seated fundraiser show during the day. we are raising money for the family of @rola_aldremly and @khaled.__2002 and for UCRP’s food bank, thrift store and violence prevention programs. i hope to see you there! thank you for reading. by @chicommunityfest

Mark your calendars because we’re back at Nabala Cafe to support Reyad and the people of Palestine!

The world may be on fire, our loved ones scared, absent, or worse, yet we still find a reason to show up. We continue to fight. We cry. We scream. We dance. We do whatever it is to make the next day easier. Tell your loved ones you love them, hold them tight. You never know when you’ll be showing up for them next.

Diondre will bless your ears, Indi from Oux is an angel and showing solidarity all the way from Detroit is the fantastic Jack w/ @__baits__ . We will have @atlanaw Atlan sharing some of his work and this lovely flier as well as our friend Demah @demahalfaiz who shared art with us last time too. Please feel free to reach out to bring your own art or work too as we will be centering all creatives at this event, if you’d like to share please. Just like our Art Talks we will have a chance to ask each other questions and explore our relationship in community with one another. Come be apart of the conversation.

Special thanks to Malcom of Chi community fest for always being a positive force in the community and spreading the love as well as Keith and Save The Night who has been doing just as much. We’re happy to work with them on this one and too many more.

ALERT! hello friends of the fest & all of chicago
on Thursday, July 16th we have a masks required totally stacked show at the beautiful @lowdown.chi made possible with the help of @chaepter @the_apartment_chicago & @savethenightchicago
this show features performances from Adelaide, Naked Lunch, Prairie Princess on tour from NYC, and Tragic Heroine. The show has a suggested donation of $10-15, which means pay as much as you can (please do though because we have an artist on tour!) doors are at 6:30pm show starts at 7:00 pm.

Hey folks!!! ~BIG NEWS~

Stella is opening up her yard for a whole day of musical whimsy. You’re all invited to come on out for Stella Fest on June 6th, 2026!!!

This fest is rooted in friendship and community solidarity, and there will be no cost of entry, however we will be accepting donations throughout the day to raise funds for the Logan Square Mutual Aid, where the money will support our neighbors. #based @logansquaremutualaid

Anyways, this is an incredibly mind blowing line up of artists that are all great friends and amazing community members!! Grateful to everyone who is involved in performing as well as helping facilitate this event. We are so lucky 🍀 🤯
