ARTIST SPOTLIGHTOriginally born in Georgetown, DC, @chief_dubz currently resides in Greenville, NC and began his DJing career in 2014 on turntables. His main genres are Dubstep, 140 and DnB but he also loves Dub, Dubwise, jook, footwork, jungle, reggae and hip hop. A lot of his inspiration comes from the original pioneers of dubstep, soundsystem culture and dubplate culture. Folks like Joe Nice, Mala, Kahn, DJ Madd, Loxy and, of course, Goldie have always been inspiring to him. 🔊🏭 THIS ONE’S FOR THE UNDERGROUND, RALEIGH!We’re thrilled to host this tour stop for @pharmadubs’ USA debut and @oldgoldinfinity’s NC debut this May. OldGold, hailing from Austin, TX, is a seasoned artist in the dubstep scene and label head for @silentmotionrec, a force that has created massive impact on dubstep music across the States. Years of touring and industry expertise as a DJ, producer, and promoter precede him.Pharma is hopping the pond from Austria to deliver an infrasonic experience — a dubstep artist supplying the community with tracks spanning rhythm-focused, percussive tunes, heavy wobblers, and everything in between. This will be Pharma’s very first time in the US, and this is his debut show here. We can’t think of a better way to present this than with our favorite local sound system, @diffuseaudio.On the homestate side, we have local support holding it down in their own rights: @v37ch (Vetch) from Charlotte, a staple in the NC dubstep scene known for his Subtle radio mixes and frequent performances. @chief_dubz from Chapel Hill brings tasteful, curated dubstep with years of knowledge and experience… remember last March with Innamind? This event is yet another example, as we present a stop on the Innamind Recordings 2025 US tour.Kursk, the founder of Innamind, started the label in 2011 and has since blessed dubstep and sound system enthusiasts with massive anthems and forward-thinking music from artists like Headland, Eva808, TMSV, Epoch, DE-TÜ, and more.
