I’m happy to announce that I’ve completed another year on this earth. 🤍✨

Today, I celebrate myself for making it through every high and every low, and for choosing to turn every challenge into an opportunity to grow.
At 27, I can honestly say I know myself better than ever and feel more at peace with who I am than I ever have.

People often make ageing sound like something to fear, but so far, every year has only brought me closer to myself. If this is what getting older looks like, I can’t wait to see what the years ahead have in store.

Here’s to 27. 🥂✨

What community feels like 🤎

We chose to skate together for Black History Month because being together means celebrating, uplifting, and supporting one another.

Roller skating as a form of dance is deeply rooted in Black culture. It’s more than movement — it’s rhythm, expression, resistance, and joy. It carries the spirit of our African heritage and stands as a reminder of our history, our strength, and our empowerment.

Through this, we want to share our culture with the world and honor the legacy that continues to inspire us.

Where there is community, there is hope ✊🏾

Where there is culture, there is power.

#2016 I was 16-17. Wore Full Face Make Up everyday! Highlighter and baking powder were my best friends. Worked at McDonalds while going High School🤣 my Boss even asked me one day to tone down my make up that “less is more”🤣 I was still using SnapChat. Rihanna was still making music. Listened to Future, Lil Yachty, 21 Savage etc. on a daily. Lol! I am such a different person now. by @chika.sxn
