My first Longhorns Football game was a lot of fun! I’m so glad I had my friends to show me the ropes!
It was hot (high of 97°) but our seats were in the shade and a nice breeze made it surprisingly pleasant! A/C, food, and drinks were just steps away!

Huge thanks to @karavelshoes for giving me the perfect game day pair of shoes! I’m a @lartisteshoes fan for sure!

There’s been some controversy over the @nikerunning @chimarathon gear, but I absolutely love it!

I bought the finisher’s jacket on race day while wearing my @vikings purple on the day they went 5-0. 🏈

The finisher’s jacket looked like it was made to complete my outfit. 💜 SKOL!!!

Water 💧 is life. Gilbert Tuhabonye is alive and continuing to inspire others after he escaped genocide in his native Burundi. 🇧🇮

Before the terror, he would walk multiple miles each day to fetch water for his family. After he survived, he vowed to help those in his homeland.

He and Peter Rauch founded the Gazelle Foundation and this year, the race that raises funds for the foundation, Run for the Water, is celebrating 20 years!

So glad I could join Gilbert on his annual anniversary of life walk to fetch water at Town Lake then walk to the steps of the Capitol. It was windy, cool, and so meaningful.

I saw Sue the T-Rex 🦖 while touring Chicago! The Field Museum is so big we didn’t see it all!

The Hartwell Memorial Window is a Tiffany Window that’s stunning! It’s 25 feet tall, and made up of 48 individual panels!
