Thanksgiving in our little corner, made with lots of love and a pinch of chaos. 🥹🤎🍂

Plus one countertop adventure because apparently, being 5’4” comes with its own kitchen challenges. 😂🤏🏽

Good food, sweet company, and beautiful memories made right at home. 🫶🏽

Homemade Green Seasoning Sauce
Ingredients:
- Green bell pepper
- Fresh basil
- Red onion
- Yellow onion
- Green scotch bonnet
- Pimento
- Fresh thyme
- Rosemary
- Parsley
- Green onion
- Thai green chilli
- Spring onion
- Garlic
- Fresh ginger
- Olive oil
Method:

Add all the ingredients to a blender, roughly blend and add olive oil to help presever it

Happy Birthday to my husband, my best friend, and one of the greatest gifts God has given me. ❤️🥹

After all these years of being married to you, I still genuinely, really like you❤️ and honestly, what a man you are!

Having known you literally all my life and watching 19 years of your life unfold… wow, where did the time go? I’ve watched you fall, get back up, grow, evolve, and rise again. I’ve seen you walk through seasons of plenty and seasons where things weren’t so easy, but through it all, God never allowed your circumstances to change the posture of your heart.

You remind me of Paul when he said he had learned to be content in seasons of plenty and seasons of need. I’ve watched you live that out, and it has impacted me more than you probably realize.

You have anchored me through seasons where I would have let go of God’s hand. When my faith felt tired, when I questioned things, when I didn’t understand what God was doing, watching you continue to trust Him reminded me to keep holding on too. You’ve reminded me that God is still God even when life doesn’t look the way we expected.

So yes, I’m riding with you till the wheels fall off! 😂❤️ …Through every season the answered prayers, the waiting seasons, the big wins, the quiet battles, and even the moments when we don’t understand what God is doing.

My prayer for you this new year: May God preserve you, strengthen you, and continually order your steps. May He give you wisdom beyond your years, favor that cannot be explained, and grace for every assignment He has placed on your life. May you never lose your hunger for God. May your heart remain tender, your hands remain strong, and your faith remain unshaken.

May God bless the work of your hands, enlarge your capacity, surround you with the right people, and take you into rooms you could never have opened for yourself. May this year bring answered prayers, divine direction, uncommon peace, good health, genuine joy, and testimonies that can only be explained by God.

And when you look back years from now, may you be able to say, Surely, goodness and mercy followed me all the days of my life.

A self-absorbed generation will struggle to understand what it means to die to self. We’ve been taught to prioritize our feelings, protect our comfort, demand our rights, and walk away whenever something becomes difficult.

Dying to self means laying down pride, selfish ambition, entitlement, unforgiveness, and the need to always be right. It means choosing obedience when your flesh wants its own way, loving when it’s inconvenient, forgiving when you’ve been hurt, serving when you’d rather be served, and choosing God’s will over your own desires.

It doesn’t mean tolerating abuse, losing your identity, or accepting unhealthy behavior. It means recognizing that marriage isn’t two people constantly asking, “What can I get?” but two people learning to ask, “How can I love, serve, and honor one another?
