ALL THINGS NEW — A Beautiful Celebration of Music, Remembrance & Hope!

What an extraordinary afternoon of music and inspiration!

The San Antonio Mastersingers extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make today's performance of All Things New such a memorable and meaningful experience.

A special thank you to our incredible artistic director and conductor, Dr. Yoojin Muhn, whose vision, passion, and leadership brought this beautiful program to life. As director of both the San Antonio Mastersingers and the UT San Antonio Concert Choir, Dr. Muhn brought together generations of singers in a remarkable celebration of music and community.

We were honored to collaborate with the talented young voices of the Children's Chorus of San Antonio, under the direction of Dr. Carolyn Cruse, and the outstanding UT San Antonio Concert Choir, under the direction of Dr. Yoojin Muhn. The combined voices of these ensembles created a truly inspiring musical experience.

Our sincere appreciation goes to our featured soloist, Dr. Beasley, and our gifted organist, Dr. Seth Nelson, for sharing their exceptional artistry and musicianship.

We are especially grateful to First Baptist Church San Antonio for graciously welcoming us into their beautiful sanctuary and helping make this special performance possible.

To our singers, musicians, ensemble directors, volunteers, board members, and everyone working behind the scenes—thank you! Your dedication, countless hours of preparation, and love of music made this afternoon possible.

And most importantly, thank you to our wonderful audience! Your presence, enthusiasm, and continued support mean the world to us. We are grateful to everyone who joined us on this special All Saints' Day.

On a day dedicated to remembrance, we came together through music to celebrate love, comfort, renewal, and the hope of all things made new.

From all of us at the San Antonio Mastersingers, thank you for being part of something truly special!

What's the spookiest song you know? We need one more for our Halloween playlist.

So far we have Monster Mash, Night on Bald Mountain, and The X-Files Theme. Song #4 is up to you. Drop it in the comments and let's see who has the best pick in San Antonio.

Big shoutout to the H. E. Butt Foundation! 🙌

Thank you for sponsoring CCSA! Your support helps us bring choral education to young singers across San Antonio, and we are so grateful.

We are also proud that our Executive Director, Dr. Alyssa Avenatti, is part of the Foundation’s 2026-2027 Capacity Building Program. In this peer learning cohort, San Antonio nonprofit leaders work together on leadership, planning, and generating resources so their organizations can operate at their best. When you invest in leaders, you strengthen the kids they serve. 🌟

Give @HEButtFoundation a follow and see how they are building up our community!

Meet @balletsa ! 🌟

Some neighbors you get to know in the hallway, and some you get to cheer for from the wings. Ballet San Antonio is both for us, a fellow resident company at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. Since 1985, they have been bringing world-class ballet to our city, and today they are San Antonio’s only local, professional ballet company, with 26 dancers on their roster this season.

What we love most is how much they give back. Their school trains dancers at every level, many of their company members teach there, and their outreach programs work to make dance accessible to the widest possible audience. That is a mission we understand well.

Give @balletsa a follow and let’s keep filling the Tobin with beautiful things this season! ❤️ by @childrenschorussa

Meet Dr. Alyssa Avenatti, our Executive Director, who keeps CCSA running and also conducts our Chorale. Eight years in, she's still inspired by the joy that making music brings to young people. Keep watching for her dream job and her time as the Easter Bunny.
