Tip #2: Read a book! 📖💭 Books give children the chance to hear new words, ideas, and ways of putting sentences together. Make reading interactive by pointing to pictures, asking questions, and talking about what happens in the story! 📚✨ by @childsplaylab

Follow along with us over the next 8 weeks to help build children’s language! Thanks to Dr. Roberta Golinkoff, Dr. Caroline Gaudreau, and Dr. Alexis Ramirez for these tips! Tip #1: Talk it up! 🗣️ Your child’s interests are a great place to start a conversation! 💬 Whether they’re watching a bug, playing with a toy, or looking out the window, talk with them about what catches their attention. These everyday conversations help children learn new words and build their language skills. 🌱💛 by @childsplaylab

Tip #3: Count it out! 🔢💛 Turn everyday moments into simple counting practice! Ask your child to count how many toys they put away, how many steps they take, or how many pieces of food are on their plate. These little counting moments can help build early math skills while making learning part of their everyday routine! ✨👏 by @childsplaylab

Tip #2: A little encouragement goes a long way! 💛👏 When children work through a tough problem, encourage them to think critically and keep trying. This can help them feel more confident when learning and working through challenging problems. Celebrate the process, not just the answer! 🌟🧠 by @childsplaylab
