I’m back in Oroville this week, the little town in Washington where I grew up.

Driving through town is a strange thing, how a thousand memories can hit you all at once. Every street is a chapter. The house, the corners, the spots you’d end up at with your friends when there was nothing else to do. It all comes back faster than you can keep up with.

And I think when you’re a kid growing up in a place like this, you don’t really know what you have. You take it for granted. The lake, the quiet, the pace of it. You’re just trying to get out and go do something bigger. It’s only later, when you sit down and actually relive it, that it starts to land. The older I get, the harder it hits.

But here’s the part that makes it mean something. It’s not just remembering it on my own. It’s getting to experience the whole thing again through a different lens, with the people I love most. Marina and Jace getting to see where I come from. Our close family friends the Farrars right here alongside us.

Someone I’ve always thought of as a second dad, Darrell Jones, opened up his home to us, handed us the keys to his ATVs and his boat, and just told us to go enjoy it. That kind of generosity is its own kind of grounding.

Right now I’m looking out at Lake Osoyoos and there’s not a breath of wind. The water is flat like glass, and the sky is doing its part too. It’s the kind of day I remember from the best summers of being a kid, and now I get to hand that same day to my own family.

I don’t know that it gets much better than this. Back to the roots for a little while, and grateful for all of it. by @chillchance0

What an incredible night! 🇺🇸👊

Last weekend, we had the honor of hosting an amazing event at MCAS and the energy in the building was absolutely electric. An unforgettable experience to say the least.

A huge thank you to the Marines, fighters, coaches, sponsors, staff, volunteers, and everyone who came out to support the event. Your support helped create an atmosphere that was second to none.

We’re proud to bring exciting combat sports action to such an incredible community and grateful for the opportunity to share this experience with the men and women who serve our country.

Thank you for making this event such a success. We can’t wait to do it again.
