One of my most monumental career achievements was when Seven Lions played my song in front of a sold out crowd at Red Rocks.

8 years prior, almost to the date, I saw Skrillex at Red Rocks back to back nights. This experience shaped the path of my creative direction, drive, and need to write electronic music.

To hear a song that I was the primary producer and songwriter on, along with utilizing my vocals for the phrasing and effects, was a moment of validation. Confirmation that the dedication was and will always be worth it.

Immediately after recording this video of Seven Lions playing ‘I Love Color’, I left Red Rocks to go back to my studio. Where the work truly happens.

Now, 11 years later, Skrillex at Red Rocks in 2014 continues to inspire me. I crushed 10.5 miles on a treadmill yesterday in the 4 am’s watching that set.

Tuning into the @cocodona250 livestream is a masterclass in human endurance. Watching runners grind through 250 miles of desert and mountain terrain is brutal, beautiful, and wildly inspiring. The grit, patience, and raw determination it takes is unreal—and most importantly, possible. Massive respect to everyone out there pushing the edge of what we think we can do.

I had the honor of pacing @derekflodmand during the 125-mile race in 2023. We’d only talked for 10 minutes at a Durango race the year before, but when he asked me to pace him, I said yes. Total strangers then—friends by the end. I met him in Flagstaff and paced him on the final 40 mile section. We racked up some bonus miles after I missed a turn (OOPS), and I had to hold one of my shoes together with zip ties and tape for the final 35 miles. We slogged up Mt. Elden in the freezing dark and wind, crossing the finish line around 3 a.m.—wrecked, grateful, and stoked. In that moment, Derek showed me what else is possible.

Looking back, I was such a noob. But, there’s only one way to learn and stepping into the unknown is where the biggest leaps happen! Stoked for the many wild miles ahead. taken in Flagstaff, Arizona by @chilledsamples

It’s been too long since I’ve shared any life updates and I should explain the ‘why’ behind my 3:30am wake-up times, 4:00am studio sessions, and long distance runs in the cold and dark.

Dreamfield friends and fans, our music continues to resonate with listeners all over the world. Kelly and I have been fortunate to average over 500,000 monthly listeners on Spotify for many months now. We currently have 9 tracks featured on 5 Spotify Editorial playlists. Our complete discography playlists has surpassed 15 hours of music. It’s an honor to work with Kelly, who shows me what true dedication to a craft looks like.

Chilled Samples friends and fans, I never went anywhere. Dreamfield, Summit One, and my other lofi projects all operate under the Chilled Samples umbrella. Although I haven’t recorded a podcast episode in 1.5 years, I work and record music with many of the 80+ individual guests from 20+ countries I’ve had the honor of becoming friends with. I have an exciting new direction for Chilled Samples that I’ll share soon.

Cryztal Grid friends and fans, I’ve been flying solo. 10 track album dropping soon.

Personal friends and family, I was hired on as Marketing Manager for a local engineering company that designs and manufactures custom equipment packages for the energy sector. Our team is incredibly talented, giving me the opportunity to learn and practice successful business strategies and tactics everyday. I was awarded employee of the year in 2024 and I intend to continue giving them my best self.

Athletically, I’ve committed to my biggest goal yet. I’ll share the specifics of this endeavor soon. On the path to accomplishing this goal, I’ve hired world record holder, Zach Bitter, as my running coach to push me to new heights.

I’ve officially surpassed 100,000,000 streams on Spotify. Consistent hard work day after day, year after year, with talented collaborators who share the same drive is the formula.

This release means a lot…I was first inspired to join the lofi scene in 2020 after listening through @cloudchord & @soulfoodhorns album ‘Koi Pond’.

2 years later, after having @cloudchord on the podcast, Kelly reached out to Derek to learn more about the lofi community and chill beats scene. Derek suggested that Kelly reach out to me…a couple months later, @dreamfield_music was born.

2 years after, we’re teaming up with @cloudchord and @lofichill_records to release a 6 track EP…this musical journey is and continues to be an absolute honor 💙
