World mental health day 🍃

Through meeting new people, movement, sweating in the sauna, stretching to yoga, breath work, chilly dipping, pushing yourself to get in the ice bath, having the first sip of that hot chocolate, to arriving by yourself, or inviting a friend - we want to create a space where mental health has no stigma. It can be spoken about and most importantly it can be shared as an experience.

The weightless of the water can often be the best tonic, in my opinion. We literally can wash away the energy of the day and be in the company of people doing the exact same.

Still not over this session on the lake with @chilly.dippers x @gorpgirls x @66north

There’s something about being surrounded by nature that completely transforms the practice 🪲

Thanks to my girl @annamaria.bjornsdottir for capturing us in our little oasis 🫀 by @chilly.dippers

My granny bought me this towelling poncho when I was about 6 years old. It’s pink and says “princess” on the hood 👑

She sadly passed away a few weeks ago after a short illness so it only felt right to wear it to last week’s dip.

My granny is the reason I love swimming. She was always found in or by the water (and was partial to a skinny dip). The dip we hosted last weekend was held 2 minutes down the road from where she lived and where I’ve spent most of my childhood, so it had even more of a magical feel to me ✨🤍 It was also so special to have my grandpa come down and cheer the dippers on shore-side.

So now I will always be dipping in her honour and the poncho will be making an (occasional) appearance 🌷 by @chilly.dippers
