POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
New head shots so perfect opportunity to do a reintroduction post for the new comers to my page and also share some personal pics 🩵🐚 My name is Zartisha Davis and I’m a proud Kabi Kabi, Butchulla, Cobble Cobble and South Sea Islander woman and Artist born and raised on Kabi Kabi Country, coming from the Mooloolaba Chilly family we are the Mooloolah Plains and Meridian Plains people. I am a mum to an amazing son named Nullen who is a Dubbi Warra Guugu Yimithirr Bama and his name Ngalan means Sun 🌞 and can also mean Bat 🦇 in Guugu Yimithirr language. Nullen inspired me to create the brand @autistic_and_deadly to spread Autism awareness, acceptance, to remove the stigma around the word and to promote feelings of empowerment for our super babies. Apart from painting beautiful canvases, I also paint murals, do art workshops, fabrics, and you can find me dancing with my beautiful family at @gubbigubbidancetroupe all around the Sunshine Coast. I’m a Leo ♌️ (such a Leo thing to mention 😂) I love to travel, well actually my son loves to travel I just happen to be there with him lol jokes no Nullen is obsessed with the world and wanting to travel the world and he already has a bucket list of places he wants to go & we began our adventures last year going to Hong Kong Disneyland, and this year we have been blessed to have visited Singapore and Vanuatu 🩵 I wanted to thank each and every one of you for enjoying, liking, buying and supporting my artwork and that it resonates and is appreciated by so many people! Keeping these stories alive for the next generation 🩵🐚 I’ve met the most amazing people some who I call family and friends now and I’ve also worked with and built really meaningful and mutually respectful relationships with some great businesses and organisations who really do want to learn about our culture, and see true change and reconciliation. Photos 1-4 by Sunshine Coast Lightning Photos- 4-7 by @embellysh The rest some personal pics of me and the family and there’s a special one slotted in there of me as a baby with my beautiful Great grandmother who raised me the first five years of my life and who this page is named in honour of 🥹🩵🐚 taken in Gubbi Gubbi Country by @chilly_alma
