Here’s my current progress on this beautiful design #unwindfieldsofgold for the very talented Rachel @unwind_knitwear — and I’m honestly in love with how it’s turning out. The colorwork is such a joy to knit, and watching the pattern come together round by round is pure magic.😃

I’m using @schoppelwolle #schoppelalbzaubercrazy together with #schoppeladmiralhanf , and the combination is just chef’s kiss — gorgeous texture, rich colors, and a really lovely feel on the needles.🥰

Still a bit to go, but I couldn’t resist sharing this cozy-in-progress moment😘

Pure joy washed over me when I learned I’d be testing this magnificent design published in #knitthecat17 by @schoppelwolle✨

The #brocadesweater by the talented @elenormortensen weaves together color and texture like threads of a modern tapestry — rich as brocade, echoing the elegance of bygone centuries and the artistry of handmade craft. Yarn, that is in my case #zauberperlenhanf 2522 Intermezzo, and design are in absolute harmony 🥰
Grateful beyond words to @elenormortensen and @schoppelwolle for this inspiring opportunity. 💖

🧶✨When colourwork meets magic ✨🧶

You know that moment when you make a post, and somehow… the magic just doesn’t show? ✨

That was the first post of my #brocadesweater — beautiful, yes, but it didn’t quite capture the feeling. So here’s another try, because this masterpiece by the talented @elenormortensen truly deserves its spotlight.

Look closer and you’ll see it: how the soft gradient of @schoppelwolle #zauberperlenhanf (Intermezzo) weaves its spell, turning stitches into a graceful dance between design and yarn.

Knitting, after all, is a little bit of alchemy — where colour, texture and patience meet magic. 🪄💫

Sometimes, you come across a knitting pattern and fall head over heels in love at first sight. And this beautiful design by the wonderful Natasja of @moonstruck_knits is definitely one of those. ❤️

The #aeryncardigan is worked modularly from the top down, featuring a stunning Roosimine chart framed by beautiful welts that make the pattern shine even more. And that’s just one of the many gorgeous details that make this cardigan so special. ✨

I’m completely smitten already, and I have a feeling this one is going to be a serious case of “just one more row”… 😄 So stay tuned and watch this little beauty grow — I can’t wait to see where this love affair with my needles takes me! 🧶❤️

✨ My #SolveigVest is finished! ✨

Another beautiful design by @elenormortensen off my needles — and I have to admit, this one surprised me! 🥰

When I first saw the shape, I wasn’t completely convinced. 😅 I was a little sceptical about how it would look and fit on me. But I decided to trust Elenor and simply knit it as written.

And guess what? It fits wonderfully! ❤️ I’m so happy I didn’t change a thing.

For my Solveig, I used these gorgeous @schoppelwolle : Alb Lino Rose Melange, Blau Mélange held together with Silky Cat Blüte and Ozon. I absolutely love how these yarns work together — the colours, the textures… just such a lovely combination. 🧶💕

And now it’s finished, which means I’m officially allowed to start thinking about the next cast-on, right? 🙈😂

Test knitting for the incredibly talented @brianaarlene — #paintbrushpullover 🎨🧶

After my last test knit, I desperately needed something quick and uncomplicated, so this call came at exactly the right time. 😅

The sweater is a button-up with a drop shoulder, and I’m knitting mine entirely from my stash using @holstgarn : Supersoft and Tides held together for the MC, and two strands of Supersoft for the CCs.

🧶✨Pattern release day! ✨🧶

Some knitting adventures start with “Oh, that looks lovely!” — and somehow end with “Well… I’m going to cut my knitting now.” 😂✂️

This beauty is the #changelingcardigan by Karel @kcknittingco , and I absolutely loved knitting my way through all those gorgeous colourwork motifs. It’s a raglan cardigan worked in the round and then steeked — yes, I really did cut right through all that knitting! 😱✂️

For my version I chose @schoppelwolle Alpaka Story in Fliederduft as the MC, paired with Alb Zauber Crazy in Pluto for the most delicious purple-and-fiery-orange combination. 🧡💜

I especially love the way the intricate colourwork changes across the cardigan, from the delicate little motifs to the wonderfully bold, leaf motif. And then there’s that lovely drop-stitch detail in the button band, finished with snap fasteners — such a fun little twist that gives the cardigan its own personality.

And now that the pattern is officially out… I can finally say:

Yes, I cut my cardigan.
Yes, I survived.
And yes, I would absolutely do it again. 😂❤️

I’m absolutely in love with the way these two Schoppel beauties play together: the wonderfully soft and lightweight Alpaka Story with its subtle tweedy texture, paired with the vibrant Alb Zauber Crazy and its colour magic. 💙🧡💜

The pattern is such a joy to knit — all those little twists, curls and unexpected details keep revealing themselves as I go.

I can’t wait to show you the finished cardigan!😅

Some projects really live up to their name… this one is definitely a Changeling. 💜🧡

I had a hard time deciding on the colour combination at first (and may or may not have changed my mind a dozen times 😅). But now? I’m completely hooked and can’t stop knitting.

Despite the summer heat, this is what’s keeping my needles busy right now—and I’m loving every single stitch. Karel’s #changelingcardigan (@kcknittingco ) really lives up to its name. The vibrant leaves, knitted in @schoppelwolle Albzauber Crazy Pluto, seem to change direction, while Alpaka Story Fliederduft softly shifts from purple to blue in the background. Every round reveals something new, and I just can’t put it down.

🌸 Officially in Full Bloom! 🌸

I guess there’s no such thing as too much colour when you’re knitting Full Bloom! 😄🌈

I’m so happy that Rachel’s beautiful new pattern #unwindfullbloom by @unwind_knitwear is finally out! It was such a pleasure to be part of the test knit, and I may have taken the “bloom” part of the name a little too seriously… 🤭

My version is knit with @schoppelwolle Zauberball Stärke 6 in Boygroup and Hintergrundrauschen—because if you’re going to bloom, you might as well do it in full colour! 🌺

One of the best things about this pattern is how many ways you can make it your own: with or without the colourwork short Rows, short or long body, optional sleeve extensions for extra width, and your choice of sleeve length. So whether you prefer subtle blossoms or a full-on flower festival like mine, there’s a Full Bloom for everyone. 🌸🌺🌼

Huge congratulations, Rachel! 🥂🍾💐Thank you for letting me be part of another wonderful test knit. ♥️

Full Bloom — and what a perfect name for Rachel’s newest design from @unwind_knitwear ! 🌸😃

Right now, everything seems to be blooming, and even my yarn got the memo. 😉 I’m knitting this beauty in @schoppelwolle Zauberball Crazy Stärke 6, and the colours feel like they were made for this pattern.

On 4 mm needles, it’s growing at a dangerous speed. You know the kind of project that makes you say, “Just one more round…” ? Yep, that one. 🧶

Meanwhile, summer appears to be in full bloom as well, and honestly, I think we’ve all had enough of that particular pattern repeat. ☀️🥵

I hope you’re all staying cool, keeping hydrated, and finding a shady knitting spot where your yarn doesn’t stick to your hands.

I’m currently test knitting for the amazing Rachel @unwind_knitwear #unwindfullbloom 🌸🌼🌺

This pattern is everything I love in a knit: beautiful, engaging, relaxing, and just challenging enough to keep me excited for the next row. And on 4 mm needles, it’s growing so wonderfully fast.😃

For this project, I chose @schoppelwolle Zauberball Stärke 6 in Hintergrundrauschen and Boygroup, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The colors flow into each other so beautifully, and watching the fabric grow feels almost magical.🪄✨

You know that feeling when a pattern and a yarn are simply meant to be together? This is one of those projects. With every stitch, I fall a little more in love with the texture, the colors, and the overall design. 🥰
