Let me tell you a true life story titled, "My Pregnancy Journey"
Warning ⚠️: Long caption alert 😁

About 12 years ago, I began noticing I was having infrequent menstrual periods. Like it comes once in 3 or 4 months. I blamed it on school stress.
But sometime in 2014, I began noticing that it would be absent for a couple of months and then I would bleed for almost 3 weeks straight. I'll have to use thicker pads like Ladysept not Always (just so you know the intensity of the bleeding). I'll even get dizzy.
That was when I went to check myself out at the hospital.

So the doctors said I had amenorrhoea and considered early menopause. Also turned out that I had multiple cysts in my ovaries a.k.a. polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).
The icing on the cake was that when the periods eventually came, it was then a case of menorrhagia (excessively heavy periods with no underlying cause).
Basically, at the age of 20, I was informed that if I wanted kids, I should "hurry up".

(I pause here to say "Hian!")

Let's skip the pain that came with these periods or the pimples that felt like rocks on my face; how I and a drug called Primolut became best buddies, or the years of taking birth control pills just to regulate a predictable flow.
Rather, let's fastforward to 2nd of November, 2016 where the most phenomenal thing happened- I met Samuel Oluwatobiloba Atanda 🥰
He asked me to date him on 8th of November, 2016 (Mr. Sharp Shooter).

Me, I don't like stories that touch and I had watched enough African Magic movies to know I should let him know ASAP of my fertility issues. In other words, "Oga, don't marry me and expect kids".
But Samuel said, "Where is it written in the Bible that menstruation was the perquisite for having children? Besides, children are a gift from God".
This guy said whether we receive this gift or not, we move.

*(Insert powerful tongues for this rhema)* 🙌

Na part of wetin make me throwaway salute for the guy let me not lie 🙌

Long story short, this is 2 years into our marriage and I'm grateful for the most amazing fun-filled 9 months of my life.

On 25th May 2022, Oluwafunmilayo Osinachi Atanda arrived 🥰

May 2026 was definitely one for the books... (Pun intended 🤭)
Omo, I didn't look it but I was super stressed so I decided to take time off to remind myself that I'm also super blessed.
Now I'm looking forward to what's next ❤️

Let June come. I'm ready 💪 by @chinny_phyll

The danger of affliction on the body is its long term effect on the mind. Some wounds are deeper than you can imagine. With everything we have seen in our country, we now all carry scars - consciously or unconsciously.

From the Lord, I ask for mercy upon all those helpless innocent children held in captivity 🙏
From the government, I ask for justice against those vile abusers
From my fellow Nigerians, I ask for you to continue to apply pressure and demand better accountability in fixing this nation. Every country has its own headache, our savior is not outside.

Finally, to my fellow Christians, while continuing in prayer, let's call out evil when we can and in whatever capacities we can.
If Jesus only spent his time on earth praying in the synagogue or fasting on the mountain, you probably won't have the salvation you're enjoying today.
Now that you have it, understand that sallvation is not for swag alone, it's serious minded responsibility. It has its rewards, no doubts. But there are expectations of God's children.
Receive grace today for Christlike levels of wisdom, courage and boldness in Jesus name. Amen 🙏

Finished reading this book this month and had the privilege of sharing today with @chinnysbookclub

It's a good one and definitely aligned with what leaders need to be reminded of.

Two things I'll be doing this week from this book are:
1. Increasing my leadership courage - because noting your insecurities, taking actions, taking risks and moving forward even in the face of uncertainties is a necessity in overcoming tough times
2. Being contagious with my passion - because leaders have the responsibility of keeping hope alive.

May God grant us the grace to apply the lessons we learn in study.

Here is your reminder to manifest Jesus joy in the midst of every battle because praise is the underestimated undefeatable weapon you carry that the enemy can't see.

I smile but I'm a sharp object 😊 Can I hear an Amen?! 🙌

Today is another good day for this pro-African woman to showcase African queens doing the Lord’s work in their endeavors. Please patronize my hardworking vendors 🙏
Hair- @kikz_gram
Full outfit- @karenubani
Shoes are @aldo_shoes (but it’s allowed😁)

The best part of my day was definitely the inspiring conversation I was blessed to have with the ultimate corporate girly all rounder @ama.o.sarpong ❤️ and also randomly running into my secondary school classmate Sena after almost 15 years 😁 Small world.

This suit deserves its own post.
I’ve been intentionally more pro-African in my outfits lately, even with office wears.
Here’s me wearing my first Nigerian sewn suit. You need this suit FYI because it speaks volumes and attracts riches 😂
Proud of what African queens have been creating. Well done @levivstar ❤️
