Twenty six point two miles taught me something I will never forget.

It is not about the distance.

It is about the people.

From start to finish, from Blackheath to The Mall, my friends were there.

Some of you have been training with me.

Some of you have never run with me, but you showed up anyway.

That matters.

That is seen.

That is heard.

That is appreciated.

A special shout out to the @genesiscollectives .

You came out to celebrate with me on the day, and then this past Saturday morning when I did my first run back, you surprised me with flowers and a card.

That level of love and thoughtfulness, I will not forget.

To everyone who lined the course cheering, holding signs, handing me a random bottle of tequila that I definitely was not going to drink, laughing with me.

To my family.

To my friends near and far.

If I can do this, honestly, anyone can.

This marathon was about so much more than running.

It was about community.

It was about love.

It was about showing up for each other.

Thank you.

26.2 miles. One unforgettable Sunday. 💙

This past weekend I ran the TCS London Marathon 2026 for the second year in a row with my incredible run club @brkedoff , and I can honestly say this one hit differently.

This year was not about chasing a time. It was about soaking in every single moment, every cheer, every smile, every step. And the truth is, none of it would have felt the same without the people around me.

From the messages flooding my LinkedIn wishing me well, to the people who quietly made sure I had everything I needed in the days leading up to race day, the gels, the snacks, the little things that actually matter when you are 20 miles deep and running on empty. You know who you are and I am beyond grateful.

To my family and friends spread out from Blackheath all the way to The Mall, seeing your faces on that course carried me further than my legs ever could.

I ran this one for my older cousin Darren, who passed away earlier this year. Every single step was for him. 💙

And a massive thank you to Saucony for kitting me out with a brand new pair ahead of race day. After everything that went down last year, they really came through and showed up for me in the best possible way. That support meant more than I can put into words.

Marathon running teaches you one thing above everything else. You are never really doing it alone.

Run club on. Darren, this one was yours. 🖤

26.2 Miles. 26th April. 2026.

A unique moment in time that deserves something special to mark.

We have run.

We have trained.

We have pulled trucks and lifted stones.

We have mourned

We have celebrated and laughed until our bodies screamed.

We have been broken and rebuilt by hands that held us up.

The training block has been hard.

The race will be harder.

But we do not walk alone.

I’ve had the support of @brkedoff & @genesiscollectives on this journey

This is round two.

On the 26th of April we dance.

We leave everything on that course.

His strength. Our Story. See you on the other side.

What an absolute honour.

Last year, shortly after completing the London Marathon 2025 with toenails literally falling off and a body screaming in protest, Sky Sports called me up for a shoot with a genuine legend. Theo Walcott.

@arsenal icon. Career of over one hundred and eleven goals and one hundred and thirty-seven assists.

The man’s still got it, and honestly, Uncle Theo is one of the most down-to-earth people you’ll ever meet.

Fair warning though, there are a few blunders in this video, so don’t say I didn’t warn you. But you know what? Real moments, real people, genuine connection. No pretence. Just pure fun. Still got that cheeky megs!!!

Massive thanks to @skysportsfootball my mate @wale_legacy , and everyone involved for making this happen. Can’t wait for the next Opportunity

Oh yeah I met a spurs fan on the day too @adamjsmithy 😅👎

Being featured in The Standard last year was never part of my plan, I was simply focused on the work in front of me. But if God chooses to use my story to reach hearts, inspire minds, or change lives, who am I to say no?

His plans have always been greater than mine.

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

This wasn’t just a marathon. This was war. A war with the voices in my head that told me I wasn’t ready. A war with the pain, the fatigue, the pressure. But mile after mile, I chose to keep showing up. For every version of me that almost gave up. For the me that never did.

@daps_14fit @alban.cacaj @brkedoff — you didn’t just give me a race bib, you gave me a shot at something life-changing. You saw something in me and gave me space to prove it to myself. I’ll never stop being grateful for that,

@run.dem.crew was more than training — it was survival. There were mornings I didn’t think I had anything left to give, but they reminded me I wasn’t doing this alone. Strangers became family. And that carried me further than pace ever could. @elenaerinofficial @therealbeep @liv_ii @hb95.__ @kevin.08.97 @kingkaishow @dickypenn @ruthieloves1 @aditi_somani @ercrobert

@daddydarkrdc & @dickypenn asked us to write letters to ourselves the night before. That letter wrecked me. Because this race was never just about running — it was about healing. About all the battles I never named out loud. About finding peace in pain. Strength in vulnerability. And love — real love — for myself, even in the mess.

I ran for something bigger and raised £880 for the @sicklecelluk — every mile had meaning.

To my family and friends who came out, cheered, tracked my progress, and showed love in every form — thank you. Seeing your faces, hearing your voices, feeling your energy… it carried me through the hardest miles. And to everyone who donated, supported, and believed in this cause — your generosity meant the world. You weren’t just backing a runner — you were standing beside a purpose. I felt every bit of that love out there.

05:33:45 on the clock — and every second was earned.

This was never just about crossing a finish line. This was about reclaiming something I thought I lost. And now… I know it’s mine.
